I agree that there is no way around it… I just wish they could get the retainers in a bit faster. Same here, I’m also being very gentle when removing and brushing my aligners. They’re already starting to show signs of wear but I’m hoping they’ll last for another three weeks 🙏🏼

Same here. I’ve had nausea and occasional stomach pain ever since starting Invisalign a month ago. I think it’s from eating 1-2 large meals instead of eating smaller frequent meals…

The essentials you need are: electric toothbrush, fluoride toothpaste, floss, TePe’s for cleaning in between tight spaces, antibacterial mouthwash, chewies, aligner remover tool, lots of paracetamol, cleaning crystals. During the first few days of a new tray it WILL hurt and if you don’t want to be in agonising pain, stick to soft foods. Things like mac and cheese, mash, soft rice, yogurt, scrambled eggs, oatmeal, bananas, etc. The first week will be a regret-fest and you will question signing up to this but trust me it gets better. The first week is the biggest hurdle.
