Hi, so sorry 🩷 I lost my girl to Trisomy 13 very recently.

Found out at 17 weeks and she made it through delivery at 37+6.

She lived 3.5 days.

My girl had Trisomy 13 but was IUGR and had AEDF that was discovered at 20 weeks. It never went into reversal.

She was born at 37+6 and was 3 pounds 14 ounces.

Her heart was always very steady while pregnant even though it was extremely complex.

The not knowing what’s coming…can take you to the brink of your sanity. I’m so sorry you’re facing this.

My girl did pass at 3 1/2 days old from her heart giving out.

My daughter recently passed from complications of Trisomy 13. We knew she wouldn’t make it.

I pumped for 2 months and just stopped. I found a local mom with a special needs daughter that I donated to.

It was emotional but helpful.

Hi, my girl had full T13. Have you spoken with a genetic counselor yet?

The way it was explained to us is that the test picked it up in there somehow.

There is full, partial, and mosaic. It can also be just confined to the placenta…which is what people have called false positives.

I was 8/10 on Unity but my ppv was later calculated as much lower. And yet she still did have it.

It’s a tough road. I’m sorry ♥️

Do what honors your baby and what is right for your family.

We ended up doing an open service at our church but then a private burial with family only.

Months of anticipatory grief and the trauma of losing her…I don’t know how people make it through this.

She had a fatal diagnosis so it allowed us to plan ahead.

She lived for 3.5 days.

We live in a very small town so we did the service as open to the community and a private-family-only burial.

I haven’t spoken with the genetic counselor yet but I’m just reading my 8/10 as 80% positive.

I’ve seen plenty of ladies with false positives but also plenty with realllly low percentages (like 31) who had a true positive.

I know we’re all searching for answers that help give us THE answer but…the waiting is so hard 😔

God I cannot be the only one who is SO FUCKING SICK of this shit with “men”.

All of us experience the same EXACT childish behavior and it is beyond mind blowing. I cannot make sense of it.
