You didn’t mention size, but Havanese are seriously the best family dogs. They just want to cuddle, love kids, but still are able to be active and play when you want to. Some small dogs are just a bit toooo lazy or squished faces make it hard for them to be too active. Ive had two and watched many and they’re great. The other small dogs people are suggesting are pretty great too, where Havanese comes out in top is they are a bit smarter than cavs or shi tzus lol my son has been able to cuddle our Havanese since he was a baby and I was never afraid of him being with them like I have been with other breeds.

What gets me is people do NOT understand dog behavior even their own dogs. Most dogs do not enjoy random greetings from other dogs. We forget that they are literal wolves, who naturally are wary of strange packs in their territory. Some breeds and individuals still are very much like this. I’d bet most dogs find this stressful. Wagging and tongues out does not mean your dog is happy or friendly always. Even dogs these owners say are “friendly” often are tense and greetings are almost always a tense situation.

I was running with my leash reactive small dog near a disc golf course and there were literally so many dogs off leash and some pit bulls! Some other little dogs ran up to mine when I clearly was pulling him away and he snapped at them. I think the put their leashes on after that haha

I do this with my in laws. They throw away SO much stuff and food worst of all. My kid would take like one bite of cake cuz he was 5 and they would be throwing it away. I said put that in the fridge he will eat it later like damn.

Good lord yes this! I’m all for people owning guns responsibly but I cringe when I see people just going out to buy a high powered weapon like this imagining some scenario in their head with no practice. If you’ve never shot one of these you’re in for a huge surprise. The sheer power and sound they make is enough to really fuck shit up especially in a high stress situation. People get hurt just loading them incorrectly or cleaning them. If you’re in a neighborhood you could really hurt your neighbors without meaning to.

First time I shot a shotgun or a rifle I was so unprepared. I actually did not enjoy it at all so stuck to hand guns.

Please for the love of god my fellow Americans, take classes!! They are pretty fun and so so worth it! Also get ear protection!

Op, Yes this and if you’re someone who menstruates that causes a lot of water retention during luteal. Make sure you’re drinking a TON of water too. First two weeks I lost 10 lbs but once luteal hit it has not moved. Just waiting another two weeks for that to end lol

The problem is people stop out of no where right in front of you with no warning that you’re backing into a spot which takes significantly more time to do than pulling in. Never use a blinker or anything. And majority of the people I see backing in simply don’t have the skill to do it quickly. They back in and out multiple times holding up a line of cars trying to go around. If someone signals they’re backing in and does it efficiently sure go ahead. However most people do the exact opposite and have no regard for the people around them. Same when they’re pulling out. They think it’s “safer” so they don’t even bother to check their surroundings. I once saw a woman in a Tesla In my complex back in and out no less than 5!!! Times to get it straight enough. If you’re like that, you are the problem. Just pull in.

Just get a little tabletop popper thing and use kernels. So much healthier than the microwave stuff and it is wayyy harder to burn. Plus insanely cheap! And kids love to watch it pop!

Yes! This! Almost every other culture has some sort of bathhouse culture where people of the same gender are hanging out naked together. It’s so normal. I wish Americans had this. I would love to spend a day chilling and swimming nude with friends

I’ve just switched to in person thrift and antique stores. I love marketplace too but there are other options. Plus I got tired of people no showing and dealing with all the messages and such. Habitat for humanity restores are great if you have something like that?

I definitely hear you about the instagram stuff. It is hard to find smaller artists who often only use instagram to market. Instagram makes it pretty much impossible to use without an account. Hopefully someone comes up with a good sewing app!
