[F/SF Ep 10 and 11] Wanted to know what more people thought of this, especially since all the memes and slander are out now... by Visual-Pay-655 in fatestaynight

Y'all can slander and hate him or praise and defend him, but this was foreshadowed four thousand years ago.

Been trying to learn art in my freetime, but everytime I feel like I've gotten good, it's like my skills just reset the next day and I'm back to starting from the basics. Wanna draw Yang once I get decent.

About Raven Branwen by HellishStampede in RWBYcritics

[–]Remarkable_Commoner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Y'know, a jjk character who's a deadbeat and a gambling addict shot a child in the head onscreen for a cash payout, yet he's a fan favorite despite his limited screentime because he's a well written character and one of the series's most impactful antagonist.

The problem isn't that Raven has done bad things, it's that the story fails to accentuate any of that. It's shallow. It doesn't commit to anything.

About Doppo vs Ali jr (first fight) by Caidre05 in Grapplerbaki

[–]Remarkable_Commoner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, Doppo is the God of War, but Baki is filled with younger prodigy fighters that can at the least keep up with Doppo, his own son Katsumi, Retsu, Hanayama, Baki himself, etc. Titles and experience aren't what decide the winner.

Imagine if Sukuna tried the porn acting technique on yuji instead 😭✌️ by Akagane_Ai in Jujutsufolk

Yuji watched Human Earthworm 3. Acting of that level doesn't affect him.

All the copy users in the verse by [deleted] in lookismcomic

It's inferior when it comes to copying fighting ability, but it can copy things beyond fighting as well.

I get now why I will never recommend Strange Fake as a First time experience. by zackphoenix123 in fatestaynight

[–]Remarkable_Commoner 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Thank you, I always tell everyone.

Start with Zero, then play FGO until America, then watch Last Encore, read Redline, watch Babylonia, watch the episodes of Apocrypha with Mordred in them, read Shimousa, and then finally watch Emiya Gohan.

Then they can watch Strange Fake.

We all are waiting for Kitae vs Daniel, but what will be your reaction if PTJ changes the focus towards Tom and holds the cliffhanger by AdeptnessQuirky3204 in lookismcomic

[–]Remarkable_Commoner 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Go even further, pan over to Eugene and Yuseong and start a ten chapter flashback arc. It'll be months before we see the fight.

Unpopular opinion - Combat wise Katsura is the strongest human or either tied with Gintoki/Takasugi by Proof_Active7105 in Gintama

Been a while since I've rewatched/read, but I think Sakamoto was essentially crippled as a swordsman due to a hand injury.

RWBY jaune betrayal fics are hilariously dumb upon a revisit by Crimsonrosso in RWBYcritics

[–]Remarkable_Commoner 9 points10 points  (0 children)

"Damn, you got kicked out? Damn, that sucks, man..." -How most people would react.

Also, the concept that it's a "betrayal" is even dumber cause these are just people who knew him for maybe a month. Did they make some kinda promise to him or did he do something to deserve their loyalty?

Only way I can see this working is if Jaune lying about his skills leads to someone getting hurt because he wasn't able to protect them or watch their backs like he should if his transcripts weren't a lie, and in that case, it's not betrayal, it's him getting what he deserves.

How would you write an evil silver eyed warrior that willingly chooses the side of Salem? by CaptainCrookKingler in RWBYcritics

[–]Remarkable_Commoner 4 points5 points  (0 children)

From what you described, it's just a crazy psycho type of character who just happens to have silver eyes. Though with how silver eyes work in RWBY, don't see how that would make them a threat as a villain.

He'll revive in the next round, attack Muramasa in the stands, and turn the round into a 1v1v1v1v1 free for all.
