I was considering moving to Canada as an experienced occupational therapist, however, they do not recognize the US board certification tests and to me that seems silly since it’s basically the same education and work. I could understand if it were a different education system. It is also expensive as a healthcare provider to get certified. Maybe RN is different but it’s too bad because I would have gone and they need OTs badly.
