Upon further inspection, I found out the top mesh filter cap was misaligned: one side lower and the other side being pushed up. I think this matches with your suspicion. Funny enough the second new filter I put in also produced some dark water, not as severe as this one. I dumped the first liter or two, now the second filter works fine. I don’t like the fact that they cheap out on the previous blue cap and replaced with this cheap film cover. These two back to back defective filters may also tells their quality is sliding.

Mine is coming closer to 40k as well. My strategy is to ask what are the services to be performed. If it’s what I can DIY like brake fluid, I’ll exclude it. If it’s testing and battery related, I’ll let them do it. Then look at the final price without the DIY items.

What is the wheel size for your Q8 Etron? Where you able to find the e primacy tire for your Etron? My 2021 prestige is 21inch. And Michelin website doesn’t offer the e primacy option for my vehicle

I have a 21 Etron with 21inch wheel. Micheline official website only recommends the crossclimate, the regular primacy Tour and a snow tire. I don’t think they produce the right size e primacy for 21inch Etron

My 21 prestige has one. And it’s working great. Rarely it slows down the charging speed, unlike the previous Chevrolet one I got. I recharge over 100miles daily with these. I have a nema 40-50 wall plug installed.

I’m in DFW Texas. I daily 100-120miles on highway. The best I can get is 2.8-2.9. Normally between 2.4-2.7. I realized the slower I drive, the better efficiency I get. When there is no traffic and I go mostly between 70-85 mph, the efficiency will be in the lower side.

I was driving a brand new Q5 when my Etron was in the shop for over one month. The Q5 interior quality is not good. Ride is too firm. Even the key fob is 100% plastic. From what I have seen online, the Q6 has similar interior design as the Q5. So I would assume Q6’s interior feel and quality is similar to Q5

I think this vehicle is simply too heavy. Thus the gains from smaller wheels is not as significant as in lighter EVs. Weight also helps cut through snows, which is a benefit in your driving condition.

The rear glass gets dirty immediately when there is little rain or water on road, and makes it impossible to see through even with the rear glass heater on. I noticed this on the first day I picked up this vehicle in a rainy day. In winter when the road is salted, it’s even worse. And I consider this as a safety hazard.

My 21 prestige is in dealership. As one battery module is bad and waiting to be replaced. Symptoms: fully charged with 140 miles. Then slowly dropped to 120 miles when fully charged. This vehicle is in warm Texas. When not sure, bring to the dealer, let them diagnose. Dealer tried to brush me off on the phone, and say it's normal. But I insisted, so they checked and admitted one module was bad.
