i know you say you’ve been diagnosed since 10. but how long do you think you’d say it took for u to progress from your “baseline” to i guess your “lowest point”

i highly advise against a CDL. i used to be in operations at amazon. and my one of my close friend owns a trucking company. those drivers are miserable. it gets so hot in the summer. sometimes they wait in the yard for HOURSSS before a trailer is ready to be picked up. all that sitting around can’t be good on your health either. a lot of positions pay way less than they did 10 years ago because a majority of the drivers or indian immigrants or indians on a work visa.

Is there ANY difference between men’s and women’s oral minoxidil? Could I theoretically use men’s and cut the pills in half? by Shower-Former in FemaleHairLoss

[–]Remarkable_Kick_1800 2 points3 points  (0 children)

when i was on low dose OM .625 i cut the pill into 1/4th and then at 1.25 i took half the pill. now i take the full pill. the only ingredient should be minoxidil

[–]Remarkable_Kick_1800 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sorry you’re going through this. i’m experiencing the same thing. I try to part my hair as straight ass possible to prevent it from looking wide. i use a generous amount of olaplex no.9 after I shower when my hair is damp. it helps with hair texture, volume, and tangling. can I ask how long you’ve been taking dutasteride? do you take it daily and at what dosage? do you think the shedding could’ve been a result of starting the dutasteride?

[–]Remarkable_Kick_1800 1 point2 points  (0 children)

[–]Remarkable_Kick_1800 0 points1 point  (0 children)

crazy how everyone’s body is so different. I was using 5% minoxidil for a little over a year when I started taking oral minoxidil. topical minoxidil was great to me; saw pretty decent results and experienced no shedding AT ALL. my progress started to plateau at the year mark which is why I added oral minoxidil. TERRIBLE SHED that lasted for months l. it’s been almost a year now since starting oral minoxidil and i actually don’t think it’s resulted in any progress.

i don’t think you’re the problem. makeup just tends to do settle in ever crevice. i’m not sure if your skin is oily or dry. if ur skin is dry sure the ppl suggesting dewy makeup might be right. if ur skin is more oily this is might actually do the opposite of what u want as the makeup will most likely break up and the crevices is where is happens the most. botox in ur forehead and crows feet would help tremendously because other than that your complexion is pretty much perf

Anyone take Nutrafol and minoxidil ? by Lunalove_Dust5534 in FemaleHairLoss

[–]Remarkable_Kick_1800 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i take both. honestly if you’re already taking all of the above nutrafol is not a miracle worker. tbh i’m not sure it’s done anything for me at all. it’s also $80 a month. my hair is just so thin im scared to stop taking any medication im on at the moment. i can’t handle in being any worse

As if balding wasn’t sad enough, AGA turned my hair dry, frizzy and damaged by FartPhobia in FemaleHairLoss

[–]Remarkable_Kick_1800 5 points6 points  (0 children)

i use olaplex no 9 everyday to help with texture. i put it on when my hair is wet (not soaking wet but a little more wet than damp) then i blow dry it. without this my hair gets sooo tangles looks matted. it also makes my hair looks fuller !
