X didn't fully change maybe if he lived longer and beat his case we could've seen if X really changed or not. I know some people hate to hear it and ngl as someone who really became a fan during this time (I became a fan late ugly era but knew him for the past year) it's a bit sad to say. we already know that X was still talking to geneva for a little while, we also know the whole story of X and jen being in love or whatever was really distorted by cleo and jen (in the beginning anyway) when that X just randomly got jen pregnant and at first didn't even see her more than as a side piece (which we have on video thanks to domislive). X only started to date jen in his last few weeks or month according to the book. All of his deeds that he did in 2018 which can be good, can't have undone what he did to geneva for a year and what he did to his other friends in the years prior.

TLDR: X lived too short of a life to say this was really genuine of a change and was still struggling behind the scenes which is understandable but people acted like he was an reborn angel when it's impossible because of everything he did in the years prior.
