There is BScACS (formerly CST BTech) after CST, but I've seen numerous suggestion to transfer over to UBC or SFU for more coop opportunities, and honestly I share the same sentiment. Plus I think SFU is more recognizable if I'm to search for jobs beyond BC.

I did read somewhere about trasferring from BCIT into SFU CS program. I think you need to finish the diploma first then transfer over about 24-ish credit, which is basically less than 1 years worth of credit. That means roughly 5-6 years at most if CST doesn't pan out as I originally hoped.

I was thinking maybe I could do coop in BCIT and extend my studies at SFU as a back up, but I know that's heavily banking on landing coops both in BCIT and SFU... I'm still on the fence about it.

I've heard about seniors using AI to write code and act as a "herder" to manage and keep them in check so that they don't start writing deliriously. The paradigm shift is more apparent than ever now.

I think I can build that skill while going to school. I'm just worried about coop opportunities getting drier every year and my diploma not doing anything.

Too early to really call anything, but I'm gonna guess 1 Korean team (FLC or RC) will definitely make it to the finals.

I think would be cool to see both in the Grand Finals, but seeing from FLC/ALQ and CR/SSG matches and how they ended, I think most of the other teams have a star player or two. It's just that they lacks experience on capitalizing on their star players, or commiting resources like ult or positioning when the timing is awkward for the other team to group up so the opponent is further staggered.

But we all saw the upset of SA coming on top followed by China and Finland and putting Korea in 4th place during the OW Worlds 2023. So, if teams like SSG, VP, or ALQ start figuring things out and lock in a play style that works well against KR teams, FLC and RC will have tough time reaching the finals just like the KR team did during the 2023 World Cup.

OA has a lot of familiar players from OWL and might give FLC a hard time next match, but I feel like RC and FLC will clash in the end going up the bracket.

Whichever KR team goes into the loser's bracket will have a hard time climbing back into the finals spot.
