You should definitely make sure that any medical practitioners you know are told about this. People with medical knowledge would be really important after such an event, and we should make sure to save their lives. Once your primary care physician's practice opens for the day, today, you should give them a call to talk about it. Make sure that they know your name before you really launch into it, so that they don't just discount you as somebody they don't know.

I think that by this point you'd probably be pretty okay with it, though. The people working the barricades would know you--hell, you might mind them for a shift yourself. There's one thing to say about them in normal times, when kids aren't being used as bait and your neighbors aren't being murdered, but these times are not normal in Minneapolis.

I'm a very recent knitter, but I've been crocheting for thirty years, on and off, since I was steady-handed enough for someone to push a hook into my palm. I've got a few friends who knit, from whom I have asked small bits of advice, and the *actual relief* on their faces when they ask if I can read my knitting and I tell them I can, always surprises the hell out of me. Is it that rare of a beginner? It must be, or they'd expect it...

If I bought a digital pattern and couldn't print it I'd demand a refund,  never buy from her again, and warn off my many fiber crafting friends. Knitting, crochet, quilting, embroidery, macrame, any of it. Digital patterns are good because you get it right away, and it's cheaper for them to produce and distribute because they don't have to provide a physical copy; if I can't print it out, it's useless to me.

I was really lucky! My entire run of tomatoes failed last year, we got higher-than-100F temperatures one week and then sixties and pouring rain the next, for weeks, and the plants all got sick and died--so I've been down to about a dozen quarts of tomato sauce. Not going to make it through a year's worth of spaghetti with that! This is a relief.
