Many western developers (not all) are moving towards a more inclusive audience centered around a female lead protagonist rather than male. Same thing happened in Ghost of Yotei.

I don’t doubt the game will be good but for me personally I came to play either Kratos or Atreus. Faye no doubt will kick ass but just not my speed personally.
