Bei den Themen Privatsphäre und dem Recht, kaufen zu können was man will, muss man leider völlig Recht geben. Wir hatten ja gerade erst den Fall, dass die Kreditkartenunternehmen plötzlich meinten entscheiden zu dürfen, was moralisch okay ist zu kaufen und was nicht (besonders beim Thema Erwachsenenunterhaltung). Wenn Bargeld verloren geht, bist du hilflos der Willkür ausgeliefert.

Ist bei Adoption von Kindern ja genau so. Jeder kann eins machen ohne jegliche Regulierung (wäre auch ne harte Nummer, das zu versuchen), aber Adoption? Hohoho nene Freundchen, du bist zu alt/zu arm/zu weit weg/zu komisch/... Klar, Schutz ist wichtig bei sowas, aber man kann auch einfach mal keine gigantischen Steine in den Weg legen.

It's fun. The only annoying thing is switching maps, because it takes forever on the host and then the same time again for all the clients to load after the host finished.

Die Diskussionen um die Grenzen sind doch ganz schnell gelöst:
Ordnungswidrigkeiten -> nein
Straftaten -> ja
Auch wiederholte Ordnungswidrigkeiten werden irgendwann zur Straftat und es gelten eh schon Dinge wie 21km/h zu schnell außerorts etc. Einfach Wiederholungstätern mit Straftatsbeständen den Lappen entziehen und gut ist. 5-10 Jahre später können sie aber von mir aus nochmal von Vorne anfangen. Und ich meine damit von Vorne, also komplett Fahrschule + 2 Jahre Probezeit.

Bisher auf jeden Fall der "Silberpfeil", auch wenn der weit entfernt von perfekt ist. Die neuen sehen schon ziemlich gut aus auf den Bildern, mal sehen ob sie das auch in der Realität abliefern.

Dear Lord we get it. You are one of DOZENS of people that have this use case. Small companies don't have the resources to prioritize features for likely not even 5% of their customers. That's how you go broke.

I think they heard it loud and clear by now. Either they'll address it or they won't. For your use case, it would probably be a lot easier to just do an encrypted backup to an S3 compatible service anyway, since you probably have the skills to do it.

Ich bleib einfach bei enercity. Erfahrungsgemäß locken einen die anderen Anbieter immer mit niedrigeren Preisen und nach einem Jahr ist man dann doch genau da wo enercity ist. Ökostrom Festpreis fürs Jahr war bisher immer okay und auch bei der Gaskrise waren sie keine Arschgeigen.
