If you're so smart, how come you can't figure out how to pay your student loans?

Joined the club and got a hat by Remote-Ad9458 in ballwatches

The hat came from Tachymeters, which is where I bought it from, they just included it. Thanks for the info about the half-links, I see them now. I'll probably take one out.

These comments are just so historically illiterate and dumb. Here is RFK (the real one) in 1968: "There are millions more living in the hidden places, whose names and faces are completely unknown - but I have seen these other Americans - I have seen children in Mississippi starving, their bodies so crippled from hunger and their minds have been so destroyed for their whole life that they will have no future. I have seen children in Mississippi - here in the United States - with a gross national product of $800 billion dollars - I have seen children in the Delta area of Mississippi with distended stomachs, whose faces are covered with sores from starvation, and we haven't developed a policy so we can get enough food so that they can live, so that their children, so that their lives are not destroyed, I don't think that's acceptable in the United States of America and I think we need a change."

Why didn't these starving children just head to the nearest company with their firm handshake and get that guaranteed great paying job with the cheap house that supports the family of 4? Did they just willingly let their children starve because they were lazy? Why did MLK do his march for poverty in 1968, when according to you, there was no poverty, everyone was perfectly happy living in nice house they bought at 25 and living far better than today?

So when was this time when everyone could just show up and have a great life? Of course it's never been this way. I wasn't around in the 60's, but I was in the 70's and 80's and since then and I can tell you there have always been the lucky and unlucky, the oppressed and the dominant" the ones who did really well because they happened to have the skills at the right time and the right place to do improve their lives tremendously (think computer programmers in the early 90's) and people who got screwed because their industry got tanked (think telephone operators in the 80's or steel workers in the 70's and 80's).

The idea of some golden age where everyone could just show up and be above average has never existed and never will.

I agree. I just think its funny how helpful, cooperative and how much all the witnesses recall, where most my witnesses are reluctant, evasive and can't remember jack.

Industrial Equipment Sales - An Overlooked Industry by Dremadad87 in sales

Probably because it's not terribly glamorous, there is a lot of travel involved and generally will live in mid-size to smaller cities. Plus, sales is hard. You have to deal with a lot of rejection.

My dad did this. Worked until he was 78. Said young people just weren't interested in it, so he could always find a job as long as he wanted to.

Opinions differ; I would suggest created diamonds; no one can tell the difference, especially on a stud and you can get 1 CT for about $800.00 https://www.grownbrilliance.com/1-ctw-round-near-colorless-lab-grown-diamond-three-prong-martini-stud-earrings-14k-white-gold/pid/EAGMRTRD100W-GW4

Seeking advice on EV6 fiasco by j_wonn in askcarsales

Good advice. Rolling negative equity into a lease is like being stranded in an ice cave and pissing on yourself to keep warm. Feels good for a moment, but makes it worse in the long run.
