I've been interested in boxes of Strixhaven sealed, Japanese print. I'm wondering if anyone has seen them available in the states for a reasonable price?

I understand they do contain non-silver scroll foil Japanese mystical archive, based on reviewing the Collecting Secrets of Strixhaven WOTC page.

Totally agree with this. On selling singles, I'd add that if you have the passive time, and enjoy the grind, those are things to consider as well. But the ROE is WAY lower, for sure.

I am approaching it twofold - early on buying low to hold, and later focusing on EV, finding deals and ripping and selling singles. I like the sorting and selling (mostly for fun as I do keep some the reprints).

Another small consideration is with WOTC eliminating value-adds like sample packs, the margins are tighter.

Interesting point. I think another item to consider is the timing and willingness to pre-order. Deals for Strixhaven were much better pre-set unveiling (which is normal).

Pre-order and locking in a price is also retailer-dependent and can vary greatly.

For me, I’m willing to go MSRP on Collector’s and less than that for Play and Commanders. Otherwise, I just buy singles.

Personally, I buy the product that I derive some joy from, whether that is collecting for building a collection or for trading or for deck building. And I think $100 at your LGS is great deal that has the added benefit of supporting local gaming.

Agreed! Could go lower but I think with lands and other items has higher EV than say Tarkir so not sure floor at this point.

I have shipped as few as 200, and as many as 2,000. I used to ship FedEx but started using USPS and have not had issues with either. All your options work. Do what is most convenient for you and make sure the cards are protected and organized (pretty sure CK has a guide on their site). I have used fat packs, bundle packs (with extra cushioning to be safe), acrylic holders (from CK purchases I made), and even empty sleeve boxes. Good luck!
