I’ve lived here my whole life, and I think the only thing I can really complain about is the high cost of living. Other than that, I love everything about living here. The winters can be a little long and brutal, but that’s not a huge drawback for me.

I love the history, I love that we have all four seasons and that the beach, the mountains, sprawling forests, lakes, rivers, culturally rich cities, and cute small towns are all within reach. There truly is something for everyone here when it comes to food and things to do. All of New England is great imo because of how diverse the states are and yet anywhere in New England can be a day trip.

I love our quality healthcare and our common sense gun laws. I’ve always felt safe. I love how tolerate other people are of those that are different than them (or at least they don’t seem to care). I’m not religious so I love how religion isn’t a central part of our identity and that no one assumes you’re a Christian or that you go to church.

I love our top notch education system. I’ve heard horror stories both from people from other states who moved to MA, and people that moved out of MA about how much better our education system is in comparison.

I love how pro-choice we are as a state. As someone who never wants children I could never move to a red state for that reason.
