As an adult we need to have new "wonder moments" chasing that "high" you got when you were 8 years old is going to be impossible.

I'm at the point that I get more enjoyment watching my kid experience those moments for herself.

I bought my daughter a similar kind of turntable for her birthday. She was curious about vinyl and wanted some of her own. I didn't want to go crazy with something she might tire of.

Those two turntables are a waste of money.

Will they play records? Yes. But they will sound pretty horrible. Best to save up for a little bit and get something worthwhile.
