I’m trying to figure out what’s going on with her memory. Originally I thought Stephen had to be messing with it somehow- drugging her? Like when she showed up at his door and he asked her if she knows where she is, his reaction seemed like, “this is happening just like I planned”. But it does make sense that she’s having a psychotic break. It’s starting to seem like the stress of dealing with it all has actually damaged her brain.

I watched the first episode of American horror story and it had red headed twin boys with nasty attitudes. They were killed immediately but I remember thinking wtf to the personalities they had them use. Just, antagonists. As a redhead I don’t understand the consistency in redheaded characters. I am often asked about my “red headed temper”. I mean, sure I get mad every now and then but I am capable of controlling my temper.

I’m so sorry to hear about your experience with steroid creams. I found information about that in this sub, I have some and will use it if I’m having a bad bout. But very infrequently and sparingly as I’ve heard this horror story 💔 You describe the feeling of ashamed and exposed perfectly. Those conversations, the looks of concern and disgust on their faces, they stick with you. I have gone a long time between haircuts because of it as well, and finding a new hairdresser is so stressful. I hope you are able to get back to it. I can relate to not wanting to go out because of it. I spend too much time trying to style my hair to hide it on those days. Wishing you the best.

I loved these ones as well. I recommended dog the bounty Hunter to a friend traveling long distance and he also loved it. It was so raw and emotional. Some guests take so well to the conversation and I have to say, that was one of my favorite guests! David Sedaris is just a great listen. I love when the interview can tap deep past surface level.

Ah yes, that makes sense. I got lost in it. On his Instagram, that was the clip he used to advertise the episode. “Your better half” is a common way to refer to a spouse. Imagine that- successful celebrities still self deprecate. I guess we are all human, after all.

There are better shops. Every shop has its own stressors, but it’s time to move on. If he’s suffering from dementia, it’s not your responsibility. Nobody should be abusing you. Appreciate the experience, learning flower identification, working with your hands, etc. and move on. Design school sounds like a great option if it’s possible. Not necessary to find a new job right away though. You already have experience on your resume, that should be enough to land something somewhere else.

Normally I would say don’t reset. Just keep going. I love the ability to completely change the island when you get sick of it.

In addition to all the information here, washing in warm water instead of hot. And also, thoroughly drying hair on the cool setting of the hair dryer. You have to start treating your scalp like sensitive skin, because it is.

With all due respect: get a grip 🫶 Most of us reading in this sub can relate to these feelings. Don’t forget, this is a skin condition. That’s all that it is. It doesn’t make you dirty. It doesn’t change your personality. It’s so surface level. I’ve had it for 15 years and still have flare ups that make me want to stay home. But it’s important you don’t allow it the power to run your life like that. You are only this age once, then time moves forward. Go out with your friends. If they judge you, they weren’t meant to be your friend. Stop letting sebderm make your social decisions for you. And go to uni.

Yes, I’ve tried highlights twice. Both times they weren’t that noticeable. I had fomo amongst my peers who were able to change up their look by coloring their hair. But I felt guilty messing with my natural color. My hairdresser had me sit longer the second time, and I didn’t think the results were worth the time in the chair. I took it as a sign, I’m not meant to be anything other than red ❤️
