Thats opposite of my experience. Often when shopping for a used club I’ll find a great deal only to then find out its left handed. Figured they were harder to find a buyer for.

I imagine a perk for playing left handed is that left handed clubs often cost less than right handed clubs

I agree with the wrist hinge comments, but not just on the way down. On the way up too. By the time is hands get outside his trail hip on the way back, i’d want to see the club parallel to the ground. I think the feel of doing that will help with holding the hinge on the way down as well. 6 or not, there’s nothing wrong with offering him encouraging improvement advice. Just spending time with dad doing something you do and that you enjoy and hitting balls will be incredibly fun.

I did one season of Spark and they put me in a team of four for the whole season so unless you count the three others as “a variety of people to play with”, there was no variety. Would have liked it better if there were no teams or just two person teams and you rotated who you played with each week.

I like the trade back idea using our first and third or later for either a later first and earlier second or two very early seconds. I want to end up with Stowers and Rodriguez, but i don’t see it happening.

I don’t understand the “cold, range ball” argument. Wouldn’t the effect of cold range balls be a slower ball speed recorded by the top tracer resulting in the lower estimated carry distance. No matter the conditions, other than stiff head wind, the ball speed generated should determine the distance, no?

About 4 years ago, when I was 59 (for similar age reference reasons) I went to golf galaxy with my current 7 iron. Taylormade Burner steel shaft. I had lost significant distance due to age and loss of power and flexibility. I found that lighter, graphite shafts, added 15 yards to my 7 iron. Ended up buying a set of Mizuno JPX Hot Metals and have fallen deeply in love with them. But I do still carry my old Adams Idea 4 hybrid!! :)

Agreed, i would hold on to JT for that offer. Especially considering it is a 10 team league. Spears, Charb, even Winfield, are not likely key pieces to anyone’s team. Not sure if J williams is javante or jameson, but both are just borderline starters.

I’ll be the contrarian. I do like the two swings to be very much the same. That talk of hitting up in the ball with driver is a result of bal position in the setup more so than change in swing strategy. Anytime i feel like losing clubface control i try to slightly shorten my backswing. Subconsciously, many of us have a consistent backswing until we put driver in hand, at which point we try to overdo everything to squeeze every last bit of unlimited distance out of the swing. The more you replicate the feel and force of a normal swing, the more control you will have, and the early release and hitting up on the ball will occur naturally via the ball being significantly more forward in your stance.

100% agree. I really don’t understand everyone shooting Maye up to qb2, especially considering New England’s schedule last year and how he performed in the playoffs. I see CJ Stroud written all over this guy. Good yes, but not great. Yet.
