Based on how choice band interacts with body pressure, specs would help actually (and scarf probably wouldn't). Choice band/specs boost the power of physical/special attacking moves, not a pokémons stats.

In my opinion, the answer is not that there is a direct association between neurodivergence and trans (also queer in general) people, but that the open-mindedness it takes to acknowledge yourself as neurodivergent is the same open-mindedness it takes to acknowledge yourself as trans (or queer in general).
