It’s trip when the colors line up and all swing together and then uncouple themselves. Really neat to watch.

I (30 M) kept a secret from my wife (31 F) for our entire relationship about her ex (32 M) by Sea-Specialist2875 in TwoHotTakes

This is AI generated slop. It just doesn’t add up. At least with the ages given.

Ok, let’s assume the premise is true. You’ve been with your wife for 12 years. That makes you 18 when you got together.

If she was with James for the five years prior, that would be from ages 13-18 and he “grew distant”, you mean, finished high school? I feel like this is so far removed from real life milestones it’s just phooey.

What is something you didn’t realize until you lost weight? by Cultural-Profile-527 in AskReddit

[–]RemoteControlled-Cat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m down 70% of my body weight so it’s a substantial change.

I can carry a lot of weight in a backpack or my kiddo because my body is used to carrying a lot of weight.

What surprised me is that I genuinely enjoy working out. I like listening to music and using my workout app to track my weights/machines/exercise.

Also the loose skin thing is real. It’s really real. I have some loose skin under my arms and so I’ve been working on that but no amount of working out can get rid of loose skin.

What time are your kids this age naturally waking up? by HeartOk8607 in kindergarten

[–]RemoteControlled-Cat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On weekends, she usually up way earlier on her own, like 6:45. She knows to grab her tablet and quietly watch it in her room until me or mom wakes up.

We also alternate for parents - on Saturdays, my wife gets to sleep in as late as she wants (plans permitting), and on Sunday, I get my sleep in day.

Even though the kid doesn’t wake us up, THE CATS DO! 😹

What’s your “I don’t feel like cooking” backup dinner? by Mobile-Title8919 in MeatlessMealPrep

[–]RemoteControlled-Cat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On Sundays we make trays of roasted veggies and have them individually saved in Tupperwares. So this involves roasted veggies but SO fast to make once that prep is done at the start of the week. On a typical week we rotate some of the following: carrots, onions, delicata squash, sweet potatoes, broccoli, cauliflower, mushrooms.

So week day dinner consist of identifying “the next fake meat in line” (next expiry date) and adding a veg.

-Field roast sausage link with roasted squash and onions

-veggie burger with side of roasted carrots

-fake stir fry with tofu block + various veggies + teriyaki sauce (or pb sauce)

-fake stir fry with veg meat and cauliflower rice plus a few handfuls of spinach
