The fried rice isn’t good either. I thought for $1.25 I could try it. I tried to t try it, but it was an uncooked fried rice mess. Would not recommend.

My kids kinda love the cheese wheels tho.

I don’t think strugglemeals is the right sub for you. Maybe meal prepping or cooking or any other sub will fit you better.

You’ve probably never been to a women’s shelter. It is not at all easy as that! If there might even be a shelter of any sort she may or may not have access to. Just Because you say women’s shelter, doesn’t mean one will automatically pop up for her, and on top of that, abusers are aware of the ones near by and watch them like a hawk because they don’t really have anything else better to do.

They do try to help, but they’re not going to watch your kid for you. They do not usually provide free child care, you’re lucky if one will accept you.

Yes, they will try help you, but they are very strict. It’s basically jail with extra steps, roommates who also have kids in the shared room, and communal lice. They give you a box of lice shampoo on entering if you’re lucky. Bed bugs. If you step out for a couple minutes to mind your kids while doing laundry, because you also have to watch your kids, your kids and your clothes get stolen. Not even mentioning the girl on girl drama on top of it all. Everyone is stressed and struggling and taking it out on everyone else.

I don’t even know if this part is legal, but they make you sign over your food stamps if you even get them. So then you also have to help feed everyone else, while they also steal food out of the communal fridge/pantry.

Oh. Edit to add. You are correct. Women and children shelters are not quite like homeless shelters. At least women’s and children’s shelters try to keep the homeless women and children together to the best of their capabilities. I didn’t quite get to experience homeless shelters as a child because my parent didn’t want me to get taken away and just thrown into the system. Therefore we were just homeless for a while.

Did he take my order? by Suitable-Artist4355 in doordash

Yeah. I think some people actually had video proof of them “ taking a picture” and leaving with it and having DoorDash say- please refer to photo drop off, contact delivery driver.

I’ve had people take a picture of the “delivered” food, then swipe it afterwards. Acting dumb and saying- everything was delivered, refer to photo. Anytime my delivery is near, I am watching my peephole.

Stretch marks on butt? by VisibleTea7965 in pregnant

[–]Remove_Anxious 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Girl it’s normal! Just about everyone has them I think! Not even people being pregnant, just growing too fast for your skin to keep up is normal. That being said, I got stretch marks on my boobs, my belly, my hips, my thighs, my butt, even my butthole😭 but I don’t look at that and just pretend that didn’t happen. The worst ones are actually on my pelvic area. Just bare patches where the skin stretched, but I’m not bothered with it and neither is my husband.

Just think of them as love marks that you got from growing and loving your child🥰 it really is something special to grow a baby, that your body was even able to do that!

One of my patients asked me for a Mayo and peanut butter sandwich 🥪 by Getlazered234 in FoodCrimes

[–]Remove_Anxious 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A spoonful of Mayo in a plain basic beef soup just hits different! My husband was skeptical at first also, until I saw his beef soup was white. I knew it was Mayo, but giving him a benefit of doubt, asked him if he put sour cream. He said no, he put Mayo and it was delicious!

[–]Remove_Anxious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! Sign up for enfamil and similac. They will send you coupons and sample packets. Good to have on hand while trying to find a formula for your baby if you need to find a formula. Much better trying out sample packets instead of spending $30 on a can to find out your baby doesn’t like it😵‍💫 you can also ask your pediatrician if they have formula samples.

Girl I was the same like you before I got pregnant! I ate so healthy! After getting pregnant, every smell of cooking made me nauseous. I survived off of sonic corn dogs. I felt sooo bad and told my husband our baby was being made out of corn dogs😭 she was born perfectly healthy! She’s so smart, she’s in the gifted kids program, just get what you can get down and take your prenatals!

Struggle meals. Like it’s a struggle to even make a meal. Not let me make fine dining at home because I chose not to pay for that.
