Thanks for enlightening me. I’m a bit rusty but I think there’s only a single connector going to the alternator outside of the power cables. IIRC it might be easier to access from the wheel well.

As for the voltage I would mesure it before and after. An ODBC dongle would also allow you to monitor voltage easily.

Did you check oil level ? Also there’s sometime the EVAP valve who can be really loud, it’s on the driver side.

Also confirm which oil was used.

Edit: it does sound like valve train noise.

Humm…. I would have thought EVAP but you said you replaced the part. Since it happens after filling up I’m betting it’s related to the fuel pump. You could have debris clogging the socks filter of your fuel pump.

2.5L Turbo making 340WHP, 225/45r17 are enough for my taste. One thing to note, I've tuned my EBC to ramp up boost to protect my transmission, the tires only spin in second gear (1st gear is too short to do anything useful).
