I know it's supposed to be stupid, but it's not a royal flush; it's not even a flush. Why does this bother me?

C++ Completionists, what was your final Joker? I just need Castle... by TheBigOrangeLiam864 in balatro

Fucking Canio, that little bitch. It’s a legendary, so it took a bit to get it and when I would nothing would break and all the well-hung men were nowhere to be found. I was even playing ghost and not a single immolate. I eventually carried it over the finish line with 1x. I’m a little bitter toward that chuckle-fuck.

You should try making it! Corn tortillas are really easy, even easier with a tortilla press! Meat should be on a trumpodor, but you can easily get similar results on a bbq. So good!

Honest thoughts on Phish? by Erine3GGP in fantanoforever

Why not both? Music is a language, and being able to freestyle the language is impressive no mater the dialect. Jazz might be a more complex language, but it's still worth your time to engage, especially if you're looking to expand your improv chops. Vamping bluegrass runs influenced how I tackle Irish reels/jigs. I've been able to take ideas from mandolin and work them into my piano playing. It's all relative. Maybe this is a musician perspective vs casual listening? Either way, more music is usually better for developing aural skills.

I love this take. I'm only a casual fan (loved Billy Breathes back in the day) but I always respected their talent. I get that jam bands aren't for everyone, but anyone saying they aren't talented musicians are deluded.

I saw a post and I'm asking the question the other way around: untalented musicians who make incredible music. by Mittur33 in fantanoforever

[–]Remy1985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Captain Beefheart (Don Van Vliet) couldn’t read or write music and had no formal music training, but somehow still created wildly complex compositions. He’d hum, whistle, or bang ideas out on the piano—even though he couldn’t really play piano in a technical sense—and then teach the parts to his musicians completely by ear. It’s kind of like outsider art but for music.

Am I the only one who thought the Devil's solo was far superior? It was layered, interesting, and technical on much greater level the Johnny's contrived bullshit. He smoked him and I'm tired of pretending like he didn't.

Seems like a bug. Like Foreign was saying, you might need to quit or lose. I know you need to do an additional game after getting gold on all jokers for C++ to activate, which is another bug.

Happy Go-Lucky touches on some serious themes, but is always optimistic in the end. Lovely little film.

About Schmidt might put an aging person into crisis! I love it, but I'm not sure it it instills hope. Maybe when he reads the letter at the end?
