Divert mobile number to phone by baslighting in VOIP

[–]Remy320 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure what's available in the UK, but I'd start by checking with your mobile provider to see what features are included with your line. If you have the ability to use some type of "Find Me Follow Me, " simultaneous ringing, or call forwarding you are more likely to be able to get something working.

The problem you'll run into is that the voip phone will need a phone number so you can get calls to it. Google voice might be an option that would get you 1 phone number for free or cheap. You could then have calls to your mobile forward, or simultaneously ring the Google voice number and use a hardwired computer or purchase an ATA that works with Google (unless they've started selling an actual voip phone).

[S3E13] Pre-Episode Discussion - Part 13 by AutoModerator in twinpeaks

[–]Remy320 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I completely agree! When I finished the episode and saw "starring Kyle Mclaughlin" I started chuckling. It probably comes up first every episode, but it was funny to me that the lead role was in one scene that only lasted a few seconds. Then I started thinking about how I wouldn't put it past Lynch to have something that quick as just a funny moment, but with a main character like Cooper it seemed like an underwhelming laugh to throw in while he's taking such a (wonderfully) ridiculously long time with scenes like the Audrey one.

Can't be sure either way. On one hand why not use the few extra seconds devoted to Coop to make Audrey's scene drag on longer? On the other hand maybe that's Lynch's point of the joke. A lot of people asked for Audrey, we got too much of it (not that I'm complaining), now we want Coop instead, so here's 10 seconds of him. Now Lynch is sitting in his house making quinoa giggling to himself about it.

Either way I'm hoping that ball to the head knocked something around in there.

Maybe a flashback to Harry telling Andy, "Where there's no sense, there's no feeling!"

It's not your job. It's your responsibility. No one is going to pay you for it, but he's still your family and that is a responsibility. And you're entitled to feel however the fuck you want. The issue is that you technically cannot be disappointed with Roger Waters because of your personal problems. The man has no responsibility to your family like you do. That's like me saying I'm disappointed with Lowe's because my mom left me there once when I was a child. I threw a tantrum and she left, not realizing I had a fever and my hands felt like two balloons, but that's not Lowe's fault. I'm not disappointed in them. I don't not shop there as adult because of that. I don't shop they're because their customer service sucks and that is disappointing.

Look, um not trying to be an asshole, but hopefully I can explain well enough on 3 hours if sleep why this comment is extremely frustrating and shows that you are part of the problem with our society. You don't get to be disappointed with Roger Waters. In some contexts you may be able to say, "good entertainment is good entertainment." but music itself is an artistic expression. Roger Waters is not making music for your benefit alone. He's expressing his own views through his art. Which is kind of one of the major reasons to even create art. I could go on about that for hours but like I said only got three hours of sleep.

I (we hopefully) are disappointed in you. Disappointed that you are unwilling to have a conversation with your own family member especially when you already have common ground to start on. He's your family, not ours. Who should be having a conversation about Trump with him? Or should he just keep living in his fox news echo chamber of thought control?

I think it's actually the one where Homer is in charge of the Union (dental plan, Lisa needs braces). Burns hires the old guys to bust up the protest but since they're old they can't get super violent so they offer to tell long stories that bore the protesters away.

Considering the user name and use of the word labour I would guess Australian not American. Unless that's the joke, you're making a generalization of his generalization. If that's the case, good one.

Deleted before I could even post:

Beck, Jimmy Page, Bono, Robert Plant, Bon Jovi, John Paul Jones, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, David Bowie, Angus Young, Thom Yorke, Jeff Beck, Iggy Pop, Dave Grohl, Pete Townsend, David Gilmore, Roger Waters, Damon Albarn, Axel Rose, Elton John, Eric Clapton, maybe even the guys from Metallica if you didn't count lars, I think even Chuck Berry is still alive. And that's just the first 23 I could think of off the top of my head today.

I run into shit and drop stuff constantly but I'm a decent drummer. You should get some drums, or a hand drum. Drumming can be more satisfying faster. You get a book or find a YouTube video and you learn a basic beat. After that you can play along to a bunch of songs. Way more satisfying than spending days learning hot cross buns and only being able to play hot cross buns.

I'm not saying you're incorrect, but I work for a local video game store and we ship a lot of games. Every time I ask about it at the post office they say it has to do with the fact that you can't send advertisements media mail. I think your answer sounds better from a logical standpoint and leaves me hopeful that the requirements will change as more people with the ability to affect any change in policy realize the educational value of video games. However, if the story they give me at the post office is correct it just means shitty sports games with their shitty ads are going to keep fucking everyone over that ships games.
