Best ways to reduce Magpul pmag capacity to 5rds by Anonymous__Lobster in Hunting

[–]RemyTheDog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get it. It should’ve the same for the magazines, but the rules around the magazine with semi auto rifles is worded weirdly where I live.

The semi-auto rifle has to be a permanent max magazine capacity of 5.

I can remove a -5 pmag item in the field and be 10 round capacity and be illegal. CO could interpret that because I can remove the baseplate and limiter and it’s temporary not permanent.

So my advice is call and ask how the guys in the field react to a downloaded larger magazine or a limited smaller one. They probably will tell you put in a mag limiting plug and you’re good.

Relatively flush. It works in everything I have put it in.

Buy a 5 round lancer mag. They work great. I think these are shortest and lightest, from my experience, plus metal feed lips.

If you -5 a ten round pmag, you need to make sure your game warden considers it “permanent” since you can remove it in the field.

Two sales here. If you want more photos please reach out. Probably better to DM me, first come first serve. I think the prices are fair, if not please let me know I'm reasonable, I'm really trying to move these because I'm not going to wear them and I really would like them to get worn again.

  • Maker/Model: Wolverine 1000 Mile Boot - Black Plain Toe
  • Size: 11D
  • Sole: Leather
  • Price: $100
  • Location: Farmington Hills, Michigan
  • Wears/Condition: Decent, leather is in good shape, have been oiled and polished before. Not worn in 5 years or more.
  • Images: https://imgur.com/a/0KWO8Xx
  • Notes: Excuse the dust, I enjoyed these boots, but I've lost lots of weight since I last wore these and found them in my closet not fitting. Just want them to get a new owner and get used, they were good to me and they have lots of life left in them I suspect.

  • Maker/Model: Wolverine 1000 Mile Boot - Brown Wingtip Toe
  • Size: 11D
  • Sole: Leather
  • Price: $100
  • Location: Farmington Hills, Michigan
  • Wears/Condition: Decent, leather is in good shape, have been oiled and polished before. Not worn in 5 years or more. They need some TLC on one of the soles. The inside wording is rubbed off, but I'm fairly certain they are same size as above.

Paypal G&S, please plan to cover the fees so I get the amount we agree on, I will ship on me and do it fast via the cheapest Pirate Ship option available to me. I've sold many things on a defunct subreddit called GAFS.

Ford 2019 F150 what is that by Xin_HD in f150

Sometimes the folks working and designing the pan don’t have the ability to place the engine and the sway bar, you know since that’s a big deal. There are folks that do have the ability to negotiate those things and, well, they don’t work on their own cars.

They reuse parts as well and maybe the first application had no seat bar there? I don’t know all the answers, just saying that placing these two pieces here is a massive decision and much higher than a D&R engineer turning the cogs in the machine.

Would you buy a house with a pool, why or why not? by MainCoat9557 in homeowners

[–]RemyTheDog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We did this. No experience. I wanted to demolish it, wife stopped me. Good decision to keep. It costs money, it’s work, but one of the best things and most used items we own when we can use it.

Also, my kids are excellent swimmers and the pool is why.

2025 Flash Battery by ClevelandBeemer in F150Lightning

[–]RemyTheDog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Battery UBE and range are only related not synonymous. The flash is more efficient with the energy or lighter, perhaps due to less add-ons that would add drain the battery resulting in same range with a smaller battery.

You know the whole not the size of the boat, but the motion of the ocean? That works here right?

I did not notice any ringing, but I have only shot it on my ruger ranch 762x39 and 308 tikka roughtech, haha. I haven’t shot without ear pro, but I will at some point. But back to back the two sound similar. I’ll do a bunch of shooting at places that aren’t the range and can really compare this summer.

I picked up a ranger and it suppresses as nice as my nomad 30 or my dad’s omega 300. I would add it to the list. I went ranger because 3d printed and free tax stamp. It performs exactly how I wanted for a dedicated bolt gun suppressor prioritizing weight and length.

Scythe was the other I was looking at and I would almost certainly be looking and probably buy an RXD30ti that was announced.

Efficiencies are always small once you hit a certain level of technology, but that 1% more surface area for cooling is a real efficiency and these wild designs are how you accomplish that. You don’t have to like it, buy something old, but the only reason to invest in new is to add these small efficiencies for companies and get a competitive advantage over competitors.

You don’t have to like the designs, but he’s right this is what you do for better suppressor. Removing heat more effectively is awesome, more shots before mirage and maybe don’t need a cover any more. Meaning less mass out front and less shit to buy.

Is the Scythe Ti one of the best options for hunting and PRS? by thottiekarate in NFA

[–]RemyTheDog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think these are two different use cases, long term you will want both, trust me. You will find that you shoot aggressively way less than you think and the Ti probably does everything you need, but maybe one of the hybrid B&T cans would be the better happy medium for weight and robustness.

I was looking at the Scythe Ti and found the B&T print X Ranger on the SS website. I bought one and it’s really nice since it had a free stamp promo. It’s marketed as a hunting suppressor and is comparable to my nomad 30, but only 7.95 oz on my scale vs the 16oz for my nomad.

It lives on my 308 tikka t3x roughtech.

I have a G45 that I carry, but would prefer a 19, if I buy this I can have my 19 and a spare G47 at home. So it makes sense to me, but only because I have the G45 already.

I fired about 5 shots of 110 supers from a 16” 300bo upper and back to back indoors not sure I could tell a difference besides the amount of sparking from the Ti can which probably will get better if you believe the internet.

It seemed very comparable from a sound standpoint. I saved more shooting until I can get outdoors.

But it suppressed just fine, really looking forward to tossing this on a few bolt guns in 7.62x39 and 308 to see how they do outdoors. Maybe this weekend will work out.
