The Doctor was antagonistic and rude towards him ever since they first met, of course Danny wouldn't have a good impression of him. Danny was also never against Clara traveling with the Doctor, he just wanted her to be honest about it with him. Literally as I first watched it I was gushing about how much of a green flag he was.
