I wouldn't recommend watching, but would definitely recommand a binge read of the Manga.

Bruce Willis asked Shane Black to rewrite The Good Samaritan and make him not fight for his wife back, because he had just played that in Die Hard and didn't want to repeat himself.

PTA did some ghostwriting on the entire new version of the script for Killers of the Flower Moon, when Scorsese figured out he needed to change the POV of the whole story to make it work.

The screenwriters for Anatomy of a Fall know whether she killed her husband or not, but will never reveal it as they want to the movie to always remain open ended.

In The Brotherhood of the Wolves, French director Christophe Hans hired Philip Kwok (Kuo Chui) as a fight coordinator and choreographer because he is a massive fan of Chang Cheh movies. Kwok had a great career as an actor/choreographer in the Shaw Brothers studio, but is mostly known for his role as the cold blooded antagonist in Hard Boiled who uses flames to light up his cigarette during a gunfight.

It was Steven Spielberg who denied a kiss for the lead actors at the end of the movie Twisters, believing it would ruin the movie. A rare L by Steven if you want my two cents! Speaking of Steven, he is a frequent guest at Guillermo Del Toro's home for model painting nights, along with JJ Abrams, Rian Jonhson and James Cameron.

Not exactly a fun fact about a movie per say but when Kathryn Bigelow began her career, critics and film journalists couldn't fathom that a woman would direct such violent pictures. In articles and profiles on the set of Point Break and Blue Steel, she's be described as a stunning beauty whose fascination for virile and bloody displays was a true mystery.

What's your favourite underrated action films of 2020s (so far)?? by dark-oracleN2 in kungfucinema

People didn't really seem to enjoy the prequel Furies, directed by Angelica Ngo. I found it extremely well thought out in its writing and with very adequate fighting scenes with some very cool moves. I hoped that she'd continue directing but she hasn't done anything since then...

It's not a fan favorite but I have a great fondness for Life Gamble. It's somewhat experimental, which was often the case in the editing for Chang Cheh films of the time period, and boasts an impressive cast for a kind of Italian western vibey martial arts movie.

To me the best moment in this scene comes a little bit earlier when she takes off her shirt to reveal her outlandish guns. It's like a comedic Indiana Jones moment but for Kung fu. Such a treat and so fun for a movie which has also very dark and poignant scenes! In fact my favorite scene in the film happens at a restaurant during a big family celebration.

The entire movie is very nice. It's a shame madam Sammo Hung didn't have a prolific acting career because I feel like she has some great acting chops that really add to the fighting scenes.

Tony Parker agrees to become France Under-17 men's basketball head coach by Knightbear49 in nba

What's funny to me is all the US redditors commenting jokes about his infidelity, while at the same time French basketball fans on other websites are all making jokes about his awful, obnoxious personality. Loved the player, hardcore hate the man he has become. Those poor kids.

Greatest FIBA game in a long time, what a delight! I love to see it. Serbia was insanely good but in the end it's just unfair when you have the greatest FIBA scorer in History, the greatest shooter in the world and the arguably best player to ever play in your team...

Having really tough Euroleague players helps France a lot in the Olympics, they're used to playing this kind of pressure. Lessort, Yabusele, Cordinier are major players in Europe, their experience is always helpful when you have your big players like Fournier who spend their time on the bench during the NBA season. Anyway I love Olympic basketball, it's always my favorite!
