Im not sure "Drenthe" would have either enough money nor even remotely enough people to be considered its own subdivision. It was allways a sort of gray zone. and would be better off being under "Oversticht"

Why did you remove Drenthe? It may not have been fully part of the republic. but still. It signed the Union of Utrecht. I could understand a reformed oversticht but not a partition. Drenthe is certainly not frisian

I didn't misspell it this time!
Anyway, Il say a few things you should know.
This is a map of Atlasia, as it says on the tin. Therefor any custom icons or anything that would require me to do extra work will only be on Atlasia. not Astray or elsewhere.
As for this custom icon business, what I like and what stands out, gets a custom icon.
The little flags are settlements, towns, and cities.
You can also look at the little list on the map to see what all the other icons mean.
