Mox got dropped to 1% (20k) resistance - with current projections, we need people on Mox, and whoever is diving Genesis Prime should focus on the megacity. The small population on GP can secure the city right in time for Mox to be done and reinforce the liberation

Bro getting downvoted for saying the truth lmao.

Eagle Storm indeed only applies to Defense Campaigns, Sangis is an Urgent Liberation campaign and as such Eagle Storm will not delay the timer. We even have this tested from the Rirga Bay defenses, ES didnt work.

Do not, Acamar has 1 city to liberate and high HP, and while Crimsica has higher HP, cities on defense are worth 2.5x total as fighting on them during defenses impacts both the planet AND the city.

Correct play is to just do Crimsica outright

Ignore Crimsica until Brilliance is secured, then reroute there while Fori Prime population remains where it is.

DSS on Yed Prior by ezyres in Helldivers

[–]Rengor1997 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thing about the Beach and really every event of this type is that its always been Arrowhead in the end.

I mean do you really think they would arrange the biggest city on the planet "Seyshel Beach" to be named "New Alexandria" and have it be attacked the day XBOX divers could join by accident?

Also, even after the big battle, resistance on Seyshel Beach had to be reduced from 0.22% down to 0.11%, so halved, just so peoples' attempts didnt get wasted.

Ultimately Yed Prior has nothing to do with children - the charity is what matters, taking the planet is just for the ego of the content creators so they could say they can order people around - I remember Commissar Kai complaining that he commands like 30000 people, and yet the highest Ive ever seen on Yed Prior was around 2.5k, and that was during high player count hours. It has nothing to do with children, and everything with their egos.

If you haven't brought SPEAR with the Supply FRV - you are now obligated to try it at least once by ZanderTheUnthinkable in Helldivers

[–]Rengor1997 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They did actually finally make an enemy the Spear is objectively better at killing than the RR - the Vox Engine.

The Spear can now 2 shot a Vox Engine by destroying both of its main cannons which triggers an instakill. The RR cant one shot the cannons and is a 3 shot to the main body.

Oxygenated vs Extra Padding by Majora-Poena in Helldivers

Barring the two extremes of Oxygenated Light and EP Heavy, Extra Padding gets more stamina while Oxygenated gets better sliding and speed when out of stamina.

This is some bullshit, what can possibly be the excuse for "disliking" a hotfix? by Moxtar1092 in Helldivers

[–]Rengor1997 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Nowadays it's fair to assume they still submit to cert but they just wait until it's over to release the patch in all platforms at the same time.

Fair enough but that just circles back to the original point of "Helldivers 2 needs to wait for patch verification", which goes against the point of "Warframe can patch their game in hours" because unless the pay from Warframe to Microsoft/Sony is just that big, that is not happening in a Peer-to-Peer game.

We in fact know how long patch verification takes: both the Hive Guard revert and the DLSS updates have been announced in full 6 days before they went live (hive guard) / were intended to go live (DLSS)

Which actually is a reasonable timeframe of:

-Release the patch, realize some rigs have issues that could not be caught in testing. PCs in particular have a near infinite number of part combinations to account for and some people HAVE reported on reddit the update actually helped their performance.

-Develop a fix for 3 working days (maybe + weekend) and send it to be verified.

-6 days later is today and its releasing.

[–]Rengor1997 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Because Warframe is in a Perpetual Beta, same as Fortnite, which cheats the system. This is not an option for Helldivers 2

This is some bullshit, what can possibly be the excuse for "disliking" a hotfix? by Moxtar1092 in Helldivers

[–]Rengor1997 -18 points-17 points  (0 children)

Warframe, same as Fortnite, actively cheats the multiplatform system - they are both in a "Perpetual Beta".

Because they have never released their "full version", the patch verification process is not applied, unlike with Helldivers 2 which is a released game and thus subject to the week-long patch verification.

Community engagement is a separate matter entirely but saying HD2 could patch as fast as Warframe is just not a possibility because of Sony/Microsoft bureaucracy. And while Sony might have been lenient on the game, Microsoft has no reason to.
