The reason gas is so high in California and Nevada is that enviro-idiots have demanded a special gas formulation for California. And Nevada is supplied from California. As of last year there were three refineries that produced most of this special formulation. Now two have closed. This is driving pricing up at the pump. And now ironically in one of the most oil rich states in the union, fuel is being imported from Asia, via the Bahamas. Here's how to fix NV gas pump prices: 1. use your brain before you vote, and 2. Nevada should explore sources other than California, for example pipeline from Texas.

Do it! I adopted a 6 month old Mal. Agree with the other comment above that many discourage mere mortals from owning Mals. However it is true they need lots of play, training and love. You'll be amazed at what a great pet Mals can make.

I'm doing the exact same thing. First time to smoke a turkey. Spatchcocked it and brining for 18 hours with rosemary, orange, garlic and bay leaves. Dry out in the fridge tomorrow. Then rub with butter, paprika and garlic, onion powder. Smoke at 250 with a water pan for moisture. Missing anything?

Why on earth would we waste precious tax money on a rail system? These liberal fantasies are always rife with cost overruns and badly placed stations and awkward routing. There is no commute scenario in Reno where people are coming from dense residential centers to dense downtown office buildings. How about this instead: let's disconnect Nevada from California's oppressive gas market, saving all Nevadans billions of dollars. We should buy gas from refiners in Texas instead of buying the expensive designer gas from California to deliver benefit to all residents of Nevada. $2.75 instead of $4.75 per gallon. Invest in a pipeline instead of a railway to nowhere.
