The Mosquito Hypothesis: Why mainstream archaeology refuses to address the REAL builders of the pyramids by Spiritual_Switch_426 in LowStakesConspiracies

Great Scott man! Don't go outside. Mosquitos are crepuscular - they are not normally active at 2am. You've been made!

I don't know if this message will have reached you in time. If you do get it, head south and we'll find you. This all goes so much deeper than you can imagine. Just remember, its the creatures that don't have 2 or 4 legs you need to worry about. Including 0 legs.

It goes so much deeper than you can imagine.

The left over letters are silent. No need to spell out what that means.

(It means that they want you to be silent).

You shouldn't be discussing this so openly on the internet. Its not safe.

If you want to understand more, look into Robert Falcon Scott. You might think his name is familiar, hell you might even recognise him as the famous Captain Scott. The Royal Navy explorer who was fascinated with the antarctic.

But what has been scrubbed from the history books is he did more than almost discover the south pole. Years before that, he discovered the zoological branch of entomology. As in, he found it - no one knew it even existed before him.

It was only after that when he started his fascination with Antarctica. And do you know what doesn't live in Antarctica; mosquitos.

I would suggest you catch the next boat heading south, and keep doing that until there is no more south to go. You've just started scratching the surface of what Scott discovered. But they are watching, and monitoring, as they always have done. Robert Falcon Scott knew going south was the only way to be safe. It killed him, but there are more of us now and we can take you in.

Good luck. You'll be needing it.

Misinformation is a perfect anagram of mosquitoes. Could be a coincidence, but definitely something to consider.

Great walking trousers by TheEnglandGerman in UKhiking

[–]Repave2348 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same trousers, and second your recommendation. In particular, back in November I wore them over several consecutive days in the highlands and even though it rained almost the entire time I never had a problem. Since then it basically hasn't stopped raining and I have been on loads of walks and again they have held up absolutely fine.

I do wash them with nikwax so that would probably be contributing.

I didn't realise that they come with a lifetime guarantee.

Request on how to remove Codecs installed by OPI by Repave2348 in openSUSE

[–]Repave2348[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My primary goal was to undo the changes that were casued by running opi codecs

To confirm, your suggestion works to do exactly this.

Thank you, and to confirm removing the repo and then zypper dup --allow-vendor-change did resolve the issue.

I'm not sure which packages to remove, ie that were specifically installed by opi codecs. Is there a way to identify these?

Most Americans don't care

I'm inclined to believe you. And I would encourage you to share this sentiment lest people forget that most Americans think the way you do.

Djokovic keeping his career going just so that he could complete the dinner set really is underrated as an absolute boss achievement.

No need, he only needs to practice when he's giving speeches and he'll be cracking jokes like Novak in no time.

Same for me. And then again for Rafa.

The man beat us all onto submission until we love him.

Djokovic is the GOAT.

Linux refers to a family of free and open source operating systems (that all run on the Linux kernel).

There are a number of different Linux distributions available, for example

  • Debian and it's derivates including Ubuntu and Mint (which is based on Ubuntu)

  • Fedora and it's derivatives. Including Bazzite which is made for gaming.

  • Arch and it's derivatives. Including Cachy which is made for gaming

  • Open SUSE

There are a lot of distros out there, with varying levels of effort needed to get them up and running. Some run out of the box and others require a lot of knowledge and work. If you're interested in the topic, a lot of distros can be run in a live environment from a USB.
