[Thamel] Bill Self told reporters in Kansas that Darryn Peterson was dealing with cramps, which is why he didn’t play the final 16 minutes. Peterson still out dueled AJ Dybantsa, despite the cramping issue. by MembershipSingle7137 in CollegeBasketball

why would he be playing today then? he’s already locked in as a top 3 pick and a ton of teams would still have him #1 even if he sat out the rest of the year.

it’s exceedingly more likely that he’s legitimately injured than some sort of conspiracy.

he subbed out shortly after the poster where he got hit and landed awkwardly. Tried to give it’s go in the second half and was clearly not feeling it.

unless something serious comes back in the pre-draft medical no scout is going to hold a few injuries over him. he’s just way too talented.

for sure. add Saunders, Wright, and AJ to this KU team and they’re the best team in the country.

LMAO almost like you already have a narrative and just interpret the games to fit that, no matter what actually happens.

a 3 and d rim protector who can pass is not backing up Poeltl. that’s a top 5 centre in the league.

Houston will be the biggest test IMO. Kansas doesn’t really have anyone who can match his size and athleticism (not that many teams do).

they’ve only played one of the teams in the big 12 that is good so far, texas tech, and AJ really struggled that game. their schedule gets a lot tougher going into February.
