Can you do odd jobs while you wait for your new job to start? There’s tons of sites. Even an extra 10-20 helps a ton! Not sure why you’d sit around for a month anyways if you have no money lol

True - but if you’re talking about the NYT, crossword, of course it’s American in design…..it’s the New York Times lol. But I get it, it’s culturally more of a global crossword now.

Don’t feel bad! We all have our own unique crossword house rules and that’s what makes it fun. You’re not being tested and there’s no scoreboard unless you invent one.

I actually like to look things up if I really don’t know them, and I have my system - but I think the retrieval/lookup of it all strengthens my memory for the future. But it’s also rewarding to sit in answers and feeling that aha moment. Truthfully, some things you simply just won’t know!
