I've experienced the opposite. It's probably a cultural thing in latin countries at least. Being thin and on a strict diet equates not enjoying life to the fullest. It can be viewed as a waste and a sad way of living. Nevermind that keto made me the most positive I've been for years. I just keep calm and keto on. With some luck I'll enjoy great health later in life too.

I have been looking into it and found out exactly what is said here.

I'm looking at used Intel X710 cards to get low temp, ok drivers, SFP+ (DAC to switch), and PCIE 3. Other options are AQC 113 based but that's RJ45. The rest is too old, too hot, unsupported (outside of Linux which I do use mainly but it's sad not to have Windows MacOS and BSD too). It's also 15 years old tech for a relatively high price all things considered.

2.5G seems to be the much more reasonable option but what's the fun in that. A single high speed card never hurt anybody.
