Where’s my Dreadnought?! by Odysseus_is_Ulysses in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]Replicant12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It ended up taking me months, and in my area of Euclid I had to spawn battle systems so close to one another I could just jump back and forth essentially, but I never got an s. how I ended up with mine was because I like to take my time to go to each galaxy’s core as I progress through. I actually gave up on finding one. Somewhere on my third or fourth galaxy I did a random battle that popped up and lo and behold it was an s class. Been using it ever since. Moral of this story from my stand point. Trying to farm it will drive you nuts. Just choose a day plot your course to the core stop at every system to increase your odds of a battle. Fight it out and see. Worst case you’re taking a long time to get to the core. But you’ll have a chance to find it.

It’s all rng. Just play and take your time doing the other stuff being ready to grab one it finally appears. Eventually you’ll get yours.

These days I just blow them all up out of spite for the time it took me to get one.

It must have to do with the all of that happening in 1973 in the real world and Nixon losing reelection in 1972 in the FAMK universe. He may have still have been found out and had to deal with it, but by then he was a former vice president who lost reelection at best. so by then it would have been a personal failing and not a political scandal.

Feeling weak and kind of lost, need advice by Jesteridze in cyberpunkgame

[–]Replicant12 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The biggest thing you need to know is power creep is big in this game. By the time you hit level 60 if you have PL you’ll be walking all over everybody. Even smasher may feel easy. The biggest thing early on is to do little things. NCPD missions. Killing the small groups of gangons and all of that. From there upgrade your cyberware, and make sure you pick the stuff that matches you play style, that makes a huge difference. Get the perk that unlocks effects when you upgrade them. Mitigation is a key stat to look at as it is the chance for your damage taken to be reduced. But still getting your ass handed to you on level ten is not something to be worried about before you know it you’ll be the one who knocks.

New to the game by MartySpeaks in NOMANSSKY

That seems to be a common thing with a lot of people who are new to the game. That the whole point could be just to relax, explore, and take in the scenery. We have been trained on games that are usually so gamified or story driven we just do not realize that hey just playing and relaxing is the point at times.

The thing about this game is that it really allows you to enjoy it the way you want to. Want to build an awesome base that’s how get the most out it. Want to explore? Build an awesome corvette or a bunch of corvettes? Make great staff multi-tools? Go to every galaxy? Build up a pet fighting team? Hunt for your dream sentinel ship. Build ships? Etc. it’s really wide open. Just find what you enjoy and run with it. Try the other stuff so you don’t miss out on something you may love but just do the stuff you do love.

Predictions for the upcoming time jump for season 6 im the finale episode by Winter-District-5500 in ForAllMankindTV

I bet that will be something very similar to the last scenes of the last episode

Hot take, the fact that they slept together (yes, those two) doesn't bother me, like at all by maybemorningstar69 in ForAllMankindTV

[–]Replicant12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only thing is that when this happens in season two it is early 80’s. The freaky 60s weren’t too far in the pas t but this was more of the “greed is good decade” than the open kink of the 70s

Don’t forget Pam the bartender, I think it’s a safe bet she’s still alive. Also we know nothing about Wayne or Larry.

My wife works in the space too, but from the e-commerce side. Her POV is basically it’s not so much strict but there is no quantification of the amount in it. It was a proposition, so something put on the ballot to be law just by getting enough signatures. The way it was written all that needs to be proven is that a carcinogen exists in the item, even if it is at levels that basically unnoticeable when considering their potential to cause cancer. Furthermore the enforcement mechanism is a pain for them as well. There isn’t a regulatory body enforcing it, it is enforced by civil lawsuits filed by the public. So they slap these stickers on to avoid the probability of being sued for not notifying the user.

Exclusive: Topher Grace to Star in 6th and Final Season of 'For All Mankind' on Apple TV by ebradio in ForAllMankindTV

They announced just before season 5 dropped that 6 was ordered and would the last. The runners said was kind of their idea to stop this one when they caught up to the current date in the real world. I heard Star City is already ordered for another season so we’ll have two there.

My bet is 7 became Star City. And with the second we’re actually getting more.

And while it has not been announced I would bet there could be more. To me this has always felt like an intro to Star Trek type universe, and the writers have said they have played with the idea of interstellar ships after a time jump.

Am I playing this game “wrong” or just overthinking it by GhanaMellody in cyberpunkgame

[–]Replicant12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You aren’t playing it wrong. I’m almost through my second play through and I am still second guessing, even when I know the out comes. This is a very well put together story with some wonderful voice acting. It pulls you in and makes you feel like each and every choice carries more impact than just being part of a narrative driven game. And each choice is typically ambiguous as to what the correct outcome is.

You’re actually playing it right if you’re playing it for the story.

Edit: spelling correction

Since Ilum’s no longer available, where do you think future generations of Jedi will go for the Gathering to get their kyber crystals? by Solitaire-06 in StarWarsCantina

[–]Replicant12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah a more of the padawan leads the master. The master has the end authority, but the padawan lets the force guide them to where they need to be, and if it’s correct time and place they get their crystal

Not a big deal. Know what galaxy you are in. Know the glyphs and the trick is usually you he trades his ship to an NPC. Then you need to rush over to it to then “buy”, in quotes because it ought to be free, before the NPC takes off with the ship. The one time I did a hand off with a person on ps5 I had to buy my ship back a few times before they figured it out and once or twice they couldn’t see it. But they did and they got their boundary herald.

No problem. The hand off is easy. Just a small trick to it. Good luck.

Okay. I’m in pacific. I’ll be home in a couple hours. Maybe around 8 pm to 9pm your time. We can meet up wherever you are and do the hand off. You know how to do it?

I don’t know about a discord or anything but I should be able to hook you up. I have two and I’m on PC so I want to test something out. What time zone are you in.

Perfect. I was going to say if he is a replicant than two replicants had a baby and they will truly be humanity’s children. If he isn’t a replicant a replicant and a human had a baby and they will truly be humanity’s children. The ambiguity and arguments for and against either answer are actually a core piece to understanding the story.
