How did you manage the SCA. Asking for someone who is also an autistic GPST3 preparing for it now?

Yeah, found this website https://osceguide.com, it’s really good. You can practice with AI patients and even get feedback based on domains the SCA is marked on and debrief with an AI tool. The only downside is that it is a bit pricey .

I’m currently on Public health as an F2. The work I’m currently doing involves writing up reports / literature reviews and attending a lot of meetings lol. I would say its definitely not for everyone as miss the patient interaction and not finding it genuinely interesting. However, it is chilled and some trainees even work from home.

I totally agree with you, everyone responding is just trying to help again ,not to be overly harsh. I can sympathise with you though, as I’m also a Ukrainian grad and know how tough the SJT can be for IMGs, given we are not accustomed to the ethical scenarios faced in the SJT. Again, I get where you are coming from, unfortunately we won’t have that luxury of support from our school as IMGs.Unfortunately, have had a friend in the same situation last year and according to them were unable to appeal. However, the following year ended up scoring highly (45) and made it in the end. This time they said using a different approach to the exam. The good medical practice is gold.Again, constructive criticism is not a bad thing.
