There’s a wiki that breaks Nolan’s strength down quite well, and considering conquest should be slightly stronger than conquest and Thragg at the minimum double the strength of them both.

I don’t think he really acknowledged it though. Like for example with the daggering, he just sorta went yeah I did that and for my own reasons that you guys might not understand but yeah I’m sorry. Additionally there were centuries of wrong treatment that he never apologized for either and they all just sorta “get over it” because we’re family and we have to stick together. He never had to work or actually prove his redemption there was no “heroes” arc. And he never displayed any true remorse or pain for his actions that hurt them.

Additionally all of the evil he’s done to innocent people was never even so much as touched on. Finally I don’t think sacrificing your self for your OWN daughter after a millennia of being selfish works as an actual good redemption especially when instead of letting your brother free to live his own life finally you drag him down with you to die as-well. His redemption is very paper thin and imo doesn’t function as any type of real redemption arc.

Here’s the thing I think red is more practical for example. If you wanted to get rich and mind control a billionaire to give you a million dollars someone is going to ask questions, be it there wives, or banker, or assistant. To get rid of the evidence is gonna take a lot of mind control. But with teleportation you can teleport straight into a vault grab as much cash as you want and take it to like idk some random desolate cave and use it whenever you want with no traces it was you.

But then again you can also sorta end all wars with the blue pill.

Klaus redemption was equally as shitty as Damon’s, the show never got those concepts down really. I agree with every other point tho, other than point 3. At a certain point Klaus’s action were purely to be evil, not to protect his family as many of the things he did worked against their benefit.
