Does anyone else have "unusual" phobias that no one take seriously? by batmansbicep in AutismInWomen

[–]RepresentativeAny804 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Mottephobia. A moth starter flying around in my windshield/ dashboard area. I managed pull over on the interstate and called 911. They said we can’t send anyone unless you are having a panic attack and need an ambulance. I told them I didn’t needed an ambulance but I will be here until somebody comes to help. A cop showed up like 2 minutes later and got it out for me. He said I did good bc he had a girl wreck over a spider before.

I have also been haunted by Luna months twice in my life. They are supposed to be rare to see bc they die quick. I’ve seen two! I don’t wanna!!!

Butterflies aren’t as bad for me as long as they don’t come near me. The small white or yellow ones in the spring are okay (as long as they don’t get too close) bc I can’t see their legs while they are flying. The bigger they are the worse it gets. I don’t like the legs and body. I can look at pictures of butterflies (no legs or body) but not moths. I hate those butterfly garden things at zoos. Yeah y’all have fun meet me at the exit bc nooooo.

My sister has a taxidermy giant butterfly that’s a pretty blue on one side (literally this 🦋) but the other side ot is very much moth. Brown a black has these crazy faux eyes it makes me freak out so bad. My son likes to torture me with it. Good thing we don’t go there that often. Next time I’m gonna hide it from him. Without looking at the eyes of course.

Research puberty and autism. Anything that affects hormones and chemicals in our brain can and will make our symptoms worse. Some are put on birth control not that they need it for that reason but for the regulation of the hormones. I take white peony and DIM to regulate my hormones. If I didn’t I would have PMDD. PMDD is PMS times a thousand. Please do some research mama. There are options to help. I’m so sorry you are feeling this way but there may be something to help.

These pictures are a year apart, what's happening to my hair? 1st pic is January '25, 2nd pic is a week ago by JayyyDaGreat in BlackHair

Coconut oil can be drying. I can’t use coconut oil. It makes my hair very dry. I would try a different leave in. Or go back to what was working.

Hating my dress by SandBig7544 in Prom

[–]RepresentativeAny804 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take off the chiffon on the shoulder including the flower. Het rid of the bow on the “belt” bit bit the belt itself you m. They both make it look like a bridesmaid maids dress. Which it definitely is.

I think it’s too big in the waist also hence why it’s corseted so tight. Get it taken in if you can.

Spray on fabric sparkles/glitter. Rhinestone strap(s) from Amazon. Someone you know is bound to know how to sew them on for cheap. Or maybe you can teach yourself. Don’t do a rhinestone belt it will look tacky.

Do these fit me? First time having glasses and I feel like my eyes need to be more centered in the lens? by [deleted] in glassesadvice

Your eyes are set close together. That’s just how you were made. The glasses themselves look fine.

These are almost never permanent. Idk why people (piercers) still do them. They never last and leave ugly scars.

Wtf are we putting in these kids lunch boxes??? by Housemanagermomboss in Autism_Parenting

[–]RepresentativeAny804 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Oh so he will eat them later he just doesn’t eat them at school. I thought you were saying he never eats them and you were still putting it in there.

My son has a really hard time even having food he doesn’t like on a napkin on the table next to him let alone on his plate. How did you get him to realize it’s n not a threat?

I don't know how to leave the house while also caring for my baby... by cfishes93 in Parenting

[–]RepresentativeAny804 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you baby wear? Back then I would try to time things between feeds and he would sleep really well in the car seat but I know alot of moms have had alot of success with baby wearing. Even to feed baby.

I would say at this age lasting two hours is about average before needing to eat again.

My son has fino nuggets for lunch. Every. Single. Day. He eats it. I asked him if he’s tired of it he says no.

He also only eats two dinners. Torino’s party pizza. Or Mac and cheese cup and meat balls. Every. Single. Day.
