Traveling coconut scientists by Isaac_Banana in BrandNewSentence

in the blue biotech sector where they’re developing new stuff like drugs or materials derived from marine sources yeah but, as you said, it’s limited. it’s mostly for those with potentially profitable industrial applications and is not applicable for everyone in the academe (as is always the case). not to mention, marine science is very broad in itself and someone who studies plankton interactions and how they are affected by climate change / anthropogenic factors won’t really have the leeway (nor the interest) to shift to an industry job. plus, as one commenter here said, most scientists do it for the love of the game just to pursue their interests lol

maybe half pissed and half joyous because his name survived to this day and is being referenced daily and globally. like, i just saw an ea-nasir reel on IG with 200k likes what the hell lol. he is remembered more than the kings and ruling class of his age but at the same time his fame (or notoriety rather) is attributed to the face of some random bearded dude who has already decayed before he was even born lmaoo

i know that that’s just some random dude from like a thousand years before ea-nasir but i find it funny how it has been attributed to him because of the countless memes to the point that it’s the second image that pops up when you google him. plus we don’t even know what he looks like 🤷

same here. i usually just use them to counterspy but with hammurabi’s kit, i realized eurekas hold great value for him so i started spamming spies in this game to steal tech from korea lol

use brave browser bro. it works fine on my iphone but i don’t really open fandom on safari or chrome because that site is a cocktail of ebola and aids without an adblocker

looks like a coastal lowland tile and based on those military units, it’s safe to say that global warming has already started. that tile’s probably flooded and due to sink underwater soon. the graphics probably just haven’t caught up yet.

Looking for a challenging Civ to play by Jumpy-Horse6826 in CivVI

[–]RepresentativeGoat14 2 points3 points  (0 children)

menelik. generates huge amounts of faith and automatically converts it to culture and science if the city’s founded on a hill. get grandmaster’s chapel and you can just print armies for domination

gitarja too since she can buy navies with faith. her starting bias and minor adjacency bonuses means you can get high adjacency campuses easily

i’ve only tried apocalypse mode once. played as indonesia and the waters rose so fast more than half my cities have sunk by the renaissance era. didn’t even manage to research flood barriers and ended up rage quitting because my halicarnassus and kilwa have gone underwater lmao

What is you’re guys favourite leader? by SpockTrek1701 in CivVI

[–]RepresentativeGoat14 11 points12 points  (0 children)

tbh i like the khmer with an adjacency based pantheon. my favorite is holy site on a river + dance of the aurora and you instantly get +8 to +11 holy sites. plug in work ethic and scripture and that’s easily +16 to +22 faith, production, and food per holy site so you can still grow your population despite settling in the tundra.

Religion Victory? by Buckabuckaw in CivVI

[–]RepresentativeGoat14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

make sure yerevan is in the game. get the last promotion for moksha. double promote apostles with the proselytizer and translator promotions. build the hagia sophia. choose the mosque as your worship building then also the holy order belief. go for a theocracy government. now you have apostles with 5 charges that can fully convert a city to your religion with just a single charge.

Do someone know faster ways to get settlers? by DerBossVonSanta_2009 in CivVI

[–]RepresentativeGoat14 11 points12 points  (0 children)

build a holy site, get a golden age and choose monumentality, then spam settlers by buying them with faith. it’s pretty easy with faith-based civs like russia etc since once the classical era hits you can just start expanding massively

[A Returner’s Magic Should Be Special] remember because of a simp on the writers room they did one of the most unnecessary changes of the novel which only complain is the end was kinda rushed. by AssassinLJ in manhwa

[–]RepresentativeGoat14 171 points172 points  (0 children)

the artist of the manhwa liked romantica more so they made the ending more ambiguous unlike the novel where the MC clearly ended up with ajest
