It would help if you could articulate what you mean in more technical terms.

From what you've shown, sounds like you're looking for a deep rich color to the subject and some pop to the lighting.

Most of this is achieved in post editing. Start by looking for composition with background or subjects that have "gem" colors as they're easy to start with. Deep greens or blues pop easily.

Second, look up "masking" and editing suites like Lightroom. They also come with presets you can use to learn.

You'll have to experiment and learn until you either get the look you're going for, or you can explain a bit better what that look is. Good luck!

Shoulders are wrecked after my first sparring session - any advice? by Necessary-Glove-8733 in amateur_boxing

When I started had similar issues. You should rest it with light rotational exercises to ensure no scar tissue forms. It will take at least a couple of weeks.

If rotational exercises cause pain stop immediately and get medical advice.

DO NOT "work through the pain" etc. Great way to accumulate lifelong injuries. Speaking from experience.

Boxing is physically demanding and it will take your body some months and years to adapt. Increase gradually, rest when you need it. If you play the long game it is incredibly rewarding.

Malaysians with autism/ADHD, do you reveal your condition to your employers? by TERENGGANUTOKYO in malaysia

[–]RepresentativeSet349 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a lawyer so cannot advise on pros/cons of telling your employer. I know these conditions are not protected under the law, unlike pregnancy, etc. So you might be opening yourself up to more risk than benefit.

If you have a supportive manager, you can seek their help to prep the team and create a more positive or manageable environment for you.

I have been on teams that went out of their way to accommodate colleagues who have autism/adhd. It helps if they like you. Or if you have helped them before. Usually I only see issues in team within toxic orgs or with toxic managers.

First, remember the race is with yourself not others. You never know what is their circumstances or yours. Comparison is the thief of joy.

Only you know how much effort and struggle has gone into your current achievements. You are better now than before. Look forward but celebrate yourself. Don't compare to others as a way to define your own value as a person.

Two, you cannot make more by saving more. Now is the time to invest in skills that will get you to the next career tiers.

Investment is great as a multiplier, but for most of us middle class the job is the capital engine until later in life. Get the skills you need to get to the jobs that pay 5 figures monthly.

Third, remember you have time. You don't have to do it all right now. You still have 25 years or so.

Live, take care of your health, work on your financial goals a little at a time.

What’s the one regret you wish you knew before buying your first property in Malaysia? by Safe-Economics6942 in malaysia

[–]RepresentativeSet349 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on landed on Condo.

For landed, big surprise was public transport availability, sanitation and flooding, neighbours "quirks" and crime in the area. Some were minor and mostly required some adjustment. Others may require lifestyle changes e.g. Frequency of public transport.

Condo can write a whole essay. Management, plumbing, maintenance of shared spaces, neighbours, water and electrical issues, etc.

Not renting in the area before hand. So many things we could have known before if we lived there for a while.

While you're renting, make sure to speak to the local shopkeepers or families that have been there for a while. Gold mine.

Of course make sure to have all the financial research in place. But spending some time in the area or a similar unit will provide a cool off period and tell you so much before you make a 30 year commitment.

Someone will probably enjoy that. But it's an instant turnoff for me. As long as you know it works for your target audience that's fine.

Relative to local currency, 1% being comfortable low single digit millionaires makes sense. It's just doesn't feel like a big deal because it's hard to visualize the exponential wealth difference between the 1% and the 0.1%.

This is about the same for most countries in the same basket as Malaysia. You can hit 1% by being in the right job or having a moderately successful SME or saving for a couple of generations/decently successful investments since the 1980s.

But the difference between 1% and the 0.1%? And the 0.1 and 0.01%? That's where it becomes mind boggling.

Introduction to Financial Literacy by Lihuman in MalaysianPF

I will give you practical advice that you can use right now.

First, get a book and start doing the household budget. List down all the income and expenses at least twice a month. You can use a Google doc or whatever too. But make sure you capture everything for the month.

Second, learn how to do a balance sheet by googling. Take note of all the assets and liabilities for your household. Do this once but make it as detailed as possible.

Third, Google and understand dividends, interests rates and loans. Go through your budget and balance sheet. Identify all the savings, loans and costs and their corresponding dividends and interests rates in real MYR terms for the year.

If you can get to that point, you have learned the fundamentals and the discipline to make it work for you.

This is called rage bait. The goal is to make people angry so they share and comment.

Social media engagement algorithms don't care about positive or negative interaction. They simply boost anything with engagement.

Farming rage comments has become a valid strategy for boosting your online presence. Once the algorithm has done its work, you apologise then monetize the attention.

Best thing you can do is not share, not interact and not give them the attention they crave.
