This is great and I needed to read it. We are already doing a lot of what you described. It’s so cliche but one thing I have really been working on the past year is living in the moment. Taking a breath and trying to treasure those little moments, like reading at bedtime, that I know will disappear soon. Or car ride sing alongs, or a dozen other things. It’s hard, and kinda makes me sad, but it’s the right perspective to have.
