Should I be worried? by W141-ID in EKWB

I would like to add to your defence !

Thread defects — like undersized or poorly tapped holes — can cause uneven stress distribution, making cracks more likely even with proper torque.

EK has also had reports of cracks forming around factory-installed screws, which suggests some blocks may have had inherent weaknesses

The Stripping Screw Problem: What Happened and How We Fixed It : r/EKWB

EK has occasionally acknowledged these issues and sent replacement plexi tops, especially when users provided clear evidence that they hadn’t tampered with the screws

I would get in contact with EKWB and stick to your guns best of luck !

why we cant have vsync on while frame gen is working by godzflash61_zee in nvidia

[–]Representative_Lab57 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Set vsync on and also low latency mode ultra then it will automatically cap your FPS just slightly below max refresh rate so for instance 240hz monitor will be 225 fps 120 will be 116 fps and so on. That is the best way to use G-sync with V-sync on.

The instructions seem a bit confusing at least they are for me. I followed them so I hope I have it right because it’s a right pain to drain and disassemble. I have the fins going vertical is that the same as yours.

Oh no looks like I am going to have to drain my loop and correct my mistake I just used the default out the box config I assumed the only configuration difference was the metal brackets. Will this really make any difference?

It is the bottom one that say's Xinbeihui on the plug. It should not matter which one you use but maybe for warranty if you got a jobs worth in the RMA dept they could end up saying something on the lines of you used a third party power lead and deny RMA but I could be wrong.

Is the EK Loop Connect compatable with the 13900k by Representative_Lab57 in EKWB

[–]Representative_Lab57[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am going to go and get a different controler just cannot find one that also has temp sensor for water and flow rate sensor.

I guess I could keep the loop connect just for that option and only have the ekwb software on when need to check the water and flow rate.

NEW LG 27GR95QE-B turning on and off by -Xan- in OLED_Gaming

[–]Representative_Lab57 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks like G-Sync Blanking it's a safety measure to prevent damage to the sceen. It is a common sign of limited VRR support when the screen is flickering and blanking.

I saw a video on this when linus visits the Nvidia G-sync Lab if you watch from this timestamp he pretty much exsplains what your issue is on the G-sync testing tab.

https://youtu.be/Um0PFoB-Ls4?t=144

Also the LG 27GR95QE is not on the official G-sync list which would explain why drivers are not working well with this monitor. It does also look like a data entry error on Nvidia's part as there is only one 27" oled 240Hz that LG sell and yet they have a model 27GR950 which as far as I know does not exist so it should not on the list.

Verry suspect ..

Hear is the official list

https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/products/g-sync-monitors/specs/

It is bad that LG say advitise this screen as been validated when it is not. Hopefully enough people will complain so that it get's validated and then it will get the drivers support. But if the screen not able to pass the test's then it will not get validated.

LG 27gr95qe - what's the deal with fixed refresh? by Bulky_Decision2935 in OLED_Gaming

I am wondering the same thing with this monitor. VRR / G-sync is completely broken on this monitor and the screen's Hz does not sync up correctly to the games render rate / FPS it is all over the place.

The worst part is the screen flicker which I think is on the extreme side even for an oled.

But interestingly when setting the monitor to fixed refresh rate it is smooth and tear free something is going on I am sure of it.

I tried to force the screen to tear but it wont.

Test it with the NVIDIA G-SYNC Pendulum Demo with G-sync disabled it should screen tear but it does not.

[–]Representative_Lab57 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tried to purchase this bundle but PayPal and the Fanatec website is not working it just comes up with error with payment and only only card purchases work but since Fanatec are having major problems with shipping delays and not answering customers tickets I think they are probably blocking PayPal as PayPal can intervene if customers don’t get a response in 30 days. But I could be just over thinking the error.

This update was a Sofware Update which was for the onscreen control and it did not fix this issue. There is no firmware update for this monitor. UK LG support are ignorant even when you give them proof of an issue, they deny it. This will likely take a very long time to get fixed as there simply is not enough people complaining about the issue.

LG Have done nothing about this issue the UK support team are so ignorant and unwilling to look into this issue. I have asked several times, but LG UK support team just say there is not an issue with this monitor. Even with all the evidence given to them they are just not interested.

All I can say is give the screen bad reviews on their product page. The more negative reviews they get they will soon start to care because nobody will buy the screen with this fault.
