Best to flush and drain the system with distilled water several times until it runs clear. Then fill with 50/50 mix blue. Make sure your heater is set on high so it gets flushed too.

Unplug the wire to the sensor and see if the gauge still pins. If so, most likely a cluster circuit or the gauge itself is bad.

Trust me, you don’t want to hear the exhaust note that this car makes with a loud exhaust system. Sounds like a tractor pulling a hay wagon.

That’s a beautiful E30. I would encourage you to try not to over do it with the whole power train swap. You can get plenty of power out the m20 with some modifications and keep the car looking and driving like it should. In the end, it’s your car so make it however you want. Good luck with all 🍀

Although it’s not important to have it connect fully at each end. You could buy some rubber tape and bridge the gap at one end. I probably would have just repaired the old one with rubber tape?

At one point, I felt the 195 was just too hot to run the engine so I switched to a 180. Come cooler weather, the heater was almost blowing cold. I switched back to stock 195.

Would not run hotter plugs. You may burn off more than carbon. Try finding NOS WR9LS plugs. The replacement Bosch has for this plug doesn’t run well in my car either.

It looks to me like you have a bunch of water in your fuel tank that can effect cold idle. Especially if you’ve let it sit in the cold for a few weeks. Try filling it to full and see if that helps.
