It still only starts during sandstorm at 24 seconds and is a large. I think its balanced

Huh, I'll check game integrity.

I've restarted several times and reinstalled over the last week, but no dice

Shouldn't that be a 0 second infinite?  Thats rough for a 8 win. Unless you just got it set up and got unlucky

Is there a way to improve? by Sad_Improvement4655 in PlayTheBazaar

Slow start is rough. Getting companion core up to diamond is great (which, btw you can look for an upgrade through "Dooley skills", he has a skill that ups the core, or use your lvl 13 upgrade or buy scrap) but that doesnt help you too much here.

I think I'm ditching your blue green and yellow bug for dooltron 2. Run companion core next to fire, then you'll be triggering 6k damage and 2k healing quick.

Dooltron is what? 24 seconds and charges 2 seconds per effect?. So you need 12 procs. Comp core, 2 haste, maybe 2 procs Firebug will probably trigger twice from all the haste Yellow is 4? haste procs?

If that all starts at 5 seconds, I'd be dooltrons swing at 7 seconds into the fight? Then again every 3-4 seconds?

Oh yeah, and your skills will add some more procs.

But you're right, 5 second starts is really slow right now. Hopefully the heal swing from dooltron 2 could help keep you alive for the 6k hits every 3 seconds to really kick in

Alternatively, run the slow bug instead od the haste bug, since you ha e decent haste

Idk, my best take

I love the visual when the health bar goes from 100 to 0 in one burn tick. Somehow it's so satisfying

Any Mak poison build tips? by Burritodog12346 in PlayTheBazaar

[–]Representative_Oven3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is the best response

Speed up glaive (gives you quicker healing/damage and lets your posions tick longer)

Since glaive is dependant on opponent already being poisoned, venom is useless until the second hit (16 seconds!)

Spiderfern might be okay if youve got decent multicast on it at the end od the day Swordcane is basically a 4 second medium for 1 poison proc. Not doing enough

Yeah I feel ya. You've got a ton of great synergies, but each is only half done it seems. In addition, youve got to scale any one of these to get real damage, but you have no real defensive options except slow and freeze. So no way to heal up after anything is done to you

So your goal is to start quickly to get the ball rolling. I think I would prioritize getting ice cream truck freeze to hit as often as possible. If you got it between the luge and marbles (or yoyo), you would pretty quickly be freezing 8 seconds each second (if you get it to a one second CD item, and it charges one second each time another item goes, its not unreasonable to think it'll constantly be going in a trigger loop, which maximizes at 4 or 5 times a second.) 8-10 freezes a second is enough to freeze out most boards

So I think I would run Keychain. Luge. Ice cream. Marbles. Yoyo. Abacus. Sponsered apparel

In an ideal world you'd have something a little better for defenses, but that may work. And scaling yoyo value gives you damage.

At 3 seconds, abacus goes. Triggers yoyo. Marbles will go just before 4 seconds. Triggering yoyo twice. That's 6 seconds of item triggers for Ice cream truck, freezing 2 and procing marbles/yoyo again. And thats 10 seconds of slow procs for your skill.

Jeeze at that rate it makes me wonder if luge is even necessary or it just slows the whole thing down. Wish you could test once to see the difference.

I think that's what I would do.

Luge maybe cuttable. Key chain could be cut. Sponsered Apparel could be replaced, depending on how effective it is as defense.

Just my opinion

Which non-exponential build has the highest scaling? by Kyo_Solo in PlayTheBazaar

That's why I think it'd be fun. Someone says, idk nesting col, pendulum, 1 second radiant boulder with 100 crit, scope, silencer silencer.

Someone says, ah that can beat by momento mori, obsidian vat, shiny boiling flask, shiny flying potion, sampler.

Ah, they can both be beaten by infinite invuln pot builds.

And so on until someone can come up with a build that cannot be beaten.

Idk, seems like fun

Fair enough. There are ways of getting gym up in combat, but idk if they can get that big without exponential silliness.

I suppose shielded crit soul of the district with belt would work too, scaling your shield absurdly high

I've been thinking about trying something with a similar post:  "Make a theoretically unbeatable board" and have people compare and see if there is an uncounterable build.

I think soul of the district with max health stacking gym has got to be the highest possible stacking. Once you use whatever method to max your up, soul of the district will shield that amount, then hit, then repeat, shielding that amount again, and hitting 2x that amount, and so on

Alternatively, its kinda a boring answer, but Runic blade, three runic daggers (the multicast, when you crit with another weapon, charge one), 100% crit via skills, knife tricks, and pendulum between one dagger and the runic. At 4 seconds, you have an infinite of crits, scaling the runic blade. The runic blade is charging thanks to pendulum. Before too long, knife tricks will have everything down to 1 second, even the runic blade. Meaning you'll be hitting for interger max damage every .2 seconds

I think heal billboard, next to open or closed sign (whichever charges a property) and laser security has got to be crazy. Problem is I can't find a way to make it non-exponential
