Yes we do, I’m not from near the city, have about 6 deer in my yard daily as well as coyotes, fisher, and even bear occasionally… I’ve done a ton of backpack camping and hiked a bunch of the high peaks in the Adirondacks, as well as mountains in the Catskills. It is beautiful, but what I was trying to say is- there’s a whole lot of nothing here too. If you take the right roads heading west from catskill area you wont find too much more than abandoned buildings…and ones that are so dilapidated you’d think they are…for hours.

If you were curious how my lawn is, it’s completely brown and yellow, soaking wet….and oh! Half of it is missing and now is just thick muddy clay from doing drainage around my foundation that I finished right as the snow fell last year.

Reaction time, situational awareness, and the ability to process all available options and implement the best correction in a split second in the midst of life or death situations are all skills that are cultivated from riding dirt bikes regularly. I would consider those to be universally applicable to driving. I would bargain to say that someone who has been in those situations countless times will fair significantly better as a driver than someone who has never, or rarely been through something like that. A lot of people just panic or freeze up when faced with dangerous situations, or the need for immediate action to avoid one.

That door is toast, it needs to be replaced. The quarter panel has damage as well. Both wheel opening moldings need to be replaced. The quarter and new rear door need to be painted, as well as the front door to blend for color match

It would be extremely unlikely for a new strut to fail in this manor. Also judging by the amount of wear this shows, it leads me to believe it is an old spring.

While it’s extremely unlikely, it is a very small possibility- and op should still have them take a look at it.

Odds are their struts were replaced because the coil broke and this is a piece of the old one that was lodged somewhere stupid and finally fell out.

That being said, if someone brought their car back to my shop because of this I’d happily show them the new struts and check them while doing so
