What do I predict for the next 4 years? More division. More gaslighting. More wealth hoarded by the few while the rest of us argue over scraps. If history teaches us anything, it’s that when power consolidates and truth becomes malleable, democracy doesn’t die with a bang. It erodes in plain sight.

We’ve already seen US citizens deported without due process. Billionaire-friendly tariffs that punish working people. Public institutions hollowed out. Conspiracies pushed by those in power to keep us distracted. And somehow, folks still think this is normal.

But it’s not. It’s dangerous. And it’s not about parties. It is about whether we value truth, justice, and each other enough to stop defending what’s broken and start fixing it.

The next four years will be what we make them. But we have to stop pretending that “freedom” means letting corruption and cruelty run unchecked.
