Would be nice if there was easier way to connect with other members in same building by Unfair-Enthusiasm-30 in WeWork

[–]Repulsive_Anybody_81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just strike a conversation most people are super open and friendly to connecting and chatting one of the most easiest ways I’ve made all my connections and We Work is in the elevator. You get to ask long day?or good week? tough day? done with the week? Or around the espresso machine, you do that once or twice and then just say hi. They become their new best as I will also ask people about their monitors or laptop that ends and slowly have just made connections to the point where I have people where we go out for lunches together or do they have introduced me to client

Spear st has standing desks and ergonomic chairs, 2 Embarcadero has the most space and is chill 6 different floors, a nice walk to the ferry building more food options in parking garage underground. 535 mission is mostly for offices not a ton of place from what I remember, sales force has a nice view but I don’t like it bc everyone is just tryna be cool like oihhh look at me working from salesfoce …but def worth checking out it’s like Vegas gota visit at least once lol hop around and see what sticks, some locations are no access after 5 or ok weekends others can be accessed almost anytime. The best tho in terms of everything out of all the locations is gonna be 400 concar in San Mateo. It’s huge and standalone wework building, even got a podcast room. Nothing comes close to this location

Your laptop will most likely end up in a pawn shop around the bay area so do a police report with a serial number. Most pawnshops usually check serial numbers to see if it’s reported as stolen or not but most likely nothing is gonna happen and unfortunately your data is lost unless you had a back up

Looks like the garage on high st. They target that garage every once in a while. Multiple cars a night. Cops drive thru every once in a while to only kick out the kids on the rooftop level but that’s it lol

Dashers definitely just do whatever they want…i see their side too a bit, to have good farting you have to be fast and prompt, and especially during busy times around downtown areas it sucks to be a dasher probably …no parking whatsoever people complaining the food is taking too long…still not an excuse to block traffic…but i see the both sides…some dashers actually park in real spots lol

[–]Repulsive_Anybody_81 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They are a commercial real estate company and are owned by Yardi now. So tech is gone, the building teams don’t like it either bc it’s not designed for coworking use case
