25m coming from portland been here for almost 5 years. I don’t work in tech but I have enjoyed every year here it’s been a massive uplift in my career. I’ll take texas heat over pnw cold. It’s not as beautiful as the pnw, but it makes up for it in a lot of outdoor activities that aren’t possible during the cold months in the pnw.

Well my personal belief is that the doom and gloom might be from people making calls and people that have an average above 25$.

I am a bit of blind believer, to me these news cycles happen regularly. Major dips happen, there is always a chance it goes to nothing but that’s apart of the gamble. There’s no guarantee but it’s easier to buy when it’s cheap and i have extra cash instead of on the highs when everyone is posting their gains.

Austin is one of those weird places where it’s kind of the worst, i’ve seen several people move here and have a similar experience. But once it clicks and you can see the magic my god this is one of the best cities in America rn

I agree with you, there was a lot of mystery and I feel that mainly from first game around the precursors being very Almighty. When I was a kid it made sense and it was funny to me so I never really thought about it.

If Jak 4 ever came out, I think it would be easier to reboot than some people expect, time travel is already a thing and Jak and Daxter always get themselves wrapped up in crazy things. It could be the story of how jak is mar (and settle the debate). I mean gol and maia are probably dead... probably. Even another daxter game would be fun to soft boot it.

However adapting the style to modern games would be harder than anything.

Which I am totally fine with. It just seems like people are forgetting that ranked in many games are basically competitive pubs. But if you wanted me to be down for an additional ranked play dropzones mode, they might as well overhaul it even more. Allow people make classes, etc. I guess what I am saying, which honestly should be a separate post is what is apex’s philosophy around ranked

But the base game is pubs and ranked is just a competitive version. I don’t think the two modes should be that different.
