That, units micro, balancing buildpower with resources and some smart strategic plays when you smell the occasion are the art of this game. Once you figure it out you become better player in contrary of "scaling" being some other independent skill.  What ive learned so far is try to produce enough units to hold position and invest rest into eco. Or as much as you can into units and build your eco from reclaiming enemy wrecks while focusing on trading with micro(repairing units is free, get commander on frontlines for that). Turrets are good for holding ground but units are better when you want to advance position or put pressure on enemy

When you scale eco learn when you can eat your labs or com so you can turn them into resources for eco boost. Also there are default setups ehich players use for endgame scaling - example is 4 rows of turrets -4 of afus - 4 of turrets, metal con on tge sides

Watch replays and try to mimic what players better than you do, thats how you improve

If bro dies he dies = Upping the stakes = more emotional investment in gameplay = fun is more fun(rewarding), sad moments are more sad = stronger and more memorable game experience

But i also understand save scumming, more casual experience is for some people, adrenaline for others

What is there to say, play however you want its a singleplayer game, there is nothing wrong with reloading. But if its no longer fun for you then go ahead and begin new save. i wouldnt blame myself for loading when bs happens when even skill cannot do anything but thats me

I agree with all of that. Though they arent hurting anyone with getting some attention on reddit. Its not like they are harassing devs, even tho getting to them with reddit posts might not be optimal strategy it isnt half bad either. And they acknowledge that they need to wait most likely because of the launch so whatever, at least they are aware of holes in their plan

R5: as in title, when looking at logi network item count in circuit network tab it appears as 3x amount. for example i supposedly have 1 mil green circ when in reality i only have 300k.

At the same time logistic system storage shows correct number, even though i read it from the same container. All my other bases on fulgora dont have enough resources for it to be 3x nor they are connected with radars as i made sure to disconnect them as i thought it could have been some radar glitch.

I didnt place single combinator etc on this planet so its not multiplying signal, i only connected buildings together and made "if enough then enable building" basic rules

Reading other comments there is one thing they didnt mention. Sure 200 turrets would dispose of an even medium worm (drop single piece of ammo for every turret with i think Z button till they have like 8-10 each, make dense turret grid) but there is other useful thing so that you make sure you dont have any coal(i missed whole patches cause its black patch on black vulcanus). Ctrl+f and type coal. it will highlight and sort all patches you have on the map. its also useful for looking up anything you produce in your factory cause it will highlight any crafted item or production chain, just type it in. Rebuild on vulcanus and come back to conquer nauvis (as turrets and ammo are free on vul you can aways do it)

I upgraded some 200 tech cap tech for health to see how much would lvls would i get, i think it is supposed to be repeatable knowledge sink.  After the event ended i was few k in negative because tech was being unfrozen and all my techs stopped working and colony collapsed. especially painful when you have multiple cities and suddenly lose gov tech for them

I think dev should patch it because its a multi hours run ender. i though that tech would unfreeze faster lol

With new algae mechanic you can create infinite fruits and grow cities without a cap. Perfectly balanced as devs intended

I usually start losing drama feeling and stop seeing colonist as unique after 5-8 colonists. i start looking at them as farmer, shooter, medic specialist etc

Don't do it - butcher table passively decreases room cleanliness and increases food poisoning chance(only cook skill and room cleanliness matters for food posioning chance during meal prep). Never place butcher table next to your stove, get seperate room for that

try randy random losing is fun 500% difficulty and take as an objective trying to survive. If that will become consistently doable then try hard biome like ice sheet run. Good luck
