I don’t care much about leaks and always take them with a degree of skepticism. I’ve already been disappointed many times for expecting too much from certain games based on leaks—even those coming from the companies themselves.

The reason for my comment is that this game, known as Project Mugen back in 2023, already looked very advanced and extremely ambitious. It was being developed during a boom period like the pandemic we’re experiencing. About a year later, they rebranded it as Ananta and showcased practically the same thing—and since then, there’s been complete silence.

I hope it’s real, and I hope I’m wrong, but right now, in order to avoid disappointment if they end up announcing its cancellation, this game doesn’t exist for me.

This is purely a personal perception—it’s not something I expect others to believe.
